So I was just thinking about this, but with all the new series that either just started, will start in the next month, or will start around March/April, which of the current series do you guys think will be ending soon? I know Young Jump typically has a couple series absent each issue, but I'm assuming some will probably end with this many more starting up. Oneshots are also pretty common in Young Jump, so limiting those a bit could make some room temporarily.

As long as Kingdom, Golden Kamuy and Kaguya-sama are staying I'll be fine. And they will be staying. I assume things that haven't taken off in any way are the ones at risk.

Yeah, I know series like that are safe for sure. The older stuff in this magazine is pretty much doing quite well, and there's a handful of stuff that still hasn't had its first volume out yet. I was referring to if anyone knew much about the several untranslated, newer series that have had a volume or 2 released (such as Tamata, Helvetica, Bathroom no Pepen, Rin to Cheer, Snack Basue, and Fushigi). I know Motoyan's a bit older as well, but I was mostly curious to see if anyone knew if any of these series "haven't taken off in any way," to use your wording, similar to Kaori Warning.

Which reminds me I still haven't gotten volume 2, now 3 is out this month and 4 is next month... 31 pages a week makes volumes come out too fast for me.

But yeah, I’m pretty sure a Part 3 of TG is guaranteed. Although :re wrapped up pretty much everything that TG had built up to. There’s still some central plot lines that haven’t been dealt with yet. And new plot lines that have been built up for a while aleady.

I guess this means TG:re will most likely be getting the Young Jump cover soon.
If it ends this volume, it’ll end in 5 weeks roughly. No later than that. But we don’t know if it’s ending this volume or the next.

Wow, judging just by Ogata's Anime Design, it seems possible (unless script writers really mess things up) that Golden Kamuy gets a 2 cour anime!!! His design in this image is only shown in the manga from chapter 42 onwards,... and that's the last chapter of volume 5!!!

Holy shit, you might be on to something. That would be great, Kamuy really deserves two cours. AOTY contender for sure.

Don't need to apologize. I'm very aware of that possibility could happen (and mostly does when it comes to a YJ series). That's why I added the mess-things-up line.

Considering how long they have waited for this series despite it becoming a pretty big hit like a while ago now, I dont see much reason for them to only do a single cour anyway. But goddamn, the same could yet again be said for most YJ adaptions... Why you gotta have such a bad rep YJ
