I kind of disagree on that, the latest chapters are not that bad and imo the author had to make something big out of the outcome of this fight. Plus, there always has been a little mystic side in the serie so I'm not that chocked.

Nahh I cant let it slide, it was some fairy tail lvl of asspull. It was just too poor written..

I believe what happened in Kingdom was a bit unnecessary and the mangaka did not necessarily need to go so far as to make it troublesome, so I am glad this is over now. Onto better stuffs again.

I mean, it is a fictional version of the Chinese history. Unless you think arrows can actually blow away a half of a person's face and generals could slice 10 people in armor into tiny bits with a single swing including horses.
Plus, Kyoukai and her dance was always a very mystic, over the top thing in the series.

THAT SAID, I do think the latest development is an ass pull in a way. I get why the mangaka did it given the fight and circumstances. He didn't want the strongest guy (arguably) to be defeated without a major consequence but he could've chosen a better way to do it.

It is what it is. Doesn't take anything else away from the series tho.
