Got antsy, so I did estimates for 100 Kanojo's sales based on Shoseki rankings:

100 Kanojo Volume 1
W1: 4,763 copies (3 days)
W2: 4,423 copies
TOTAL: 9,186 copies

100 Kanojo Volume 2
W1: 6,137 copies (3 days)
W2: 4,536 copies
TOTAL: 10,673 copies

I want to measure this up against Kubo-san and Kowloon Generic Romance, as well as other Young Jump newbies, but honestly the fact that the series is experiencing growth is a very good sign IMO. Hopefully it can keep this momentum up! I want this to stick around.

With how much people seem to be talking about it and that it even ended up on Jump+ too, I'm pretty surprised the sales aren't higher than this. Regardless, I'm glad they seem to be increasing at least

As for the anime, there's a rather big Kaguya-sama event happening October 25th at 4PM JST. They're selling tickets to it. Season 2 was announced at around the same time last year. Don't expect any news until then:

That's ggood, but will it grow? That's the real important question. Young Jump seems to be in a pretty damn comfortable position, but that just makes it even harder for the newbies to really find footing. I'm getting worried about 100 Girlfriends in particular. Kubo's doing well for itself, Kowloon sold more than Kubo, and now Oshi no Ko seems to be on it's way to selling more than Kowloon. I dunno the full lineup of Young Jump series and how well they sell, but still. I want 100 girlfriends to survive considering I feel the other newbies are more or less safe.

The author of Alice to Taiyou has really been pumping out the material lately. They also have a oneshot in Jump GIGA that just came out. Kanojo no Yasei's author is back again too.
