I never said that you said anything like that. Nothing could make Jacob look impressive at this point. I just don't see how it help Mira look better. Dimaria basically has nothing without age seal she abuses it to the point that she no longer considers it possible to actually stand against so she is highly open to sneak attacks and blitz given her shock and range her reaction time is actually quite good. Her power however enough to shake Kagura without god soul, the entire guild is generally unphased by Jacob's power. Sorry but Lucy <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Wendy the only fight Lucy has had this arc has been against someone putting on a show and the fight exhausted her, seriously count the things wendy has taken and the things she has done inbetween fights she blocked god soul's full power attack and the same thing Irene use against acologia even if you claim she had elemental advantage she still blocked it from hitting Erza, slayers advantage counts for nothing there. What did Lucy do, get in to sneak attacks against trash wait until the Irene fight is over then Wendy<Mira mid at best.

Cause Jacob w/o Transport>Dimaria w/o Age Seal imo, and Mira is doing better than Wendy.
Lucy did better against Brandish than Wendy did against Dimaria, sure Brandish held back, but thats why i lowered Lucy down to only in Wendy's tier.
Besides, even if Lucy is far weaker than Wendy, a Natsu who isnt trying is still infinitely stronger than her.
Natsu holding back+Lucy together absolutely stomp a lone Wendy, no diff

Mira takes this Mid-High diff. IMO, she's still more or less on Erza's level. so unless you think Wendy can take on Erza now, Mira should definitely win this.

also.. Juliet and Hynhe saying "This woman is seriously bad news" is a testament to how scary Mira can be she dried up the sea in no time with her magic power Even FDKM Natsu could only evaporate the lake as he moved towards it


but then again... Hiro messed up when he showed Mira being terrified by Irene's presence

P.S. I love Wendy and thinks that she has the best DF among the Dragon Slayers. so my other answer is that they both hug it out.

Umm I actually think this is about to happen and the plot seems posed to give someone a power up given the need it will likely be Wendy plus Irene actual said that her power was slightly weaker power so that plus power = Wendy >=Erza in the every near future after all Irene isn't worried about fighting Erza with Wendy's power that says something as well. However, I do agree with the general mistreatment but with Mira it is the norm in tatarous she was getting beat up by books I wouldn't even wist that upon my most hated character in this manga. I actually like Lucy and Mira it sucks that they are used almost exclucively for fanservice I just doubt the stats are still there for Mira in this case.

C'mon, this one has to go to Wendy. Dragon Force is simply too strong for Mirajane to overcome with something with the Alegria Satan Soul that burns through her magic fast. So given that, I'd say Wendy mid-high diff.

All Wendy would have to do is survive a single attack from Mirajane, and she's golden. Considering she's taken hits like Age Scratch from Dimaria and can defend against Irene's fireballs, this is entirely within my expectations.

Exactly this. Wendy has the ability to survive attacks from Irene. Mirajane is proven to be exhausted after a single attack in Alegria. All Wendy would have to do is survive a single attack from Mirajane, and she's golden. Considering she's taken hits like Age Scratch from Dimaria and can defend against Irene's fireballs, this is entirely within my expectations.

Age Scratch is just a brief pain move which hasn't shown to do damage, and she stopped an enchantment. It's not like she can dispel other kinds of attacks at will - if she shows this then she rises a lot in my book. Even if this is a testament to Wendy's skillset (it is) I find it no different to her healing skills in this battle. Other than the defensive barrier she used against DiMaria, which would have use.

Wendy also has the feat of getting trashed by a laser that TO-Sherria was able to swat... and she was bloodied by an elbow from Chronos. TO-Sherria has better physicals than Wendy, but Sherria getting hurt like that means she's not a tank either. So I don't think Wendy ranks that high in the tank department, with or without DF.

Whether Wendy can outlast Alegria or not is up for debate, since Mirajane's "fight" is against 2 swords who didn't show to be great fighters. Based on what I've seen, I give the benefit of the doubt to Mirajane.

Fair enough on the point on Age Scratch. I was under the impression that Wendy made a barrier against Irene the same way she did against Dimaria because of the pose, but I suppose since there aren't those hexagons that I might be mistaken. Nevertheless, we've still seen Wendy use her enchantment to protect Chelia from Dimaria's full powered attack in Chronos. That should be enough to protect her against one attack from Alegria soul. I agree that Wendy isn't very tanky, but she has pretty decent defence with that enchantment shield of hers.

Also, if an elbow from Dimaria works against Chelia, then Juliet's kick should work against Mirajane. After all, Chelia remained on her feet and Dimaria in her Chronos Soul should be a lot stronger than Juliet. Mirajane and Wendy are on the same level when it comes to durability imo.

Chronos is definitely a lot stronger than Juliet no doubt. Mira did get sent flying from a kick to the face, which is different to Chronos' attack (which was like 12-6 elbow). But Sherria was bleeding, which is still worse than what happened to Mira. In comparison Wendy is much weaker than Sherria. I'd definitely agree to Sherria being more durable and stronger than Mirajane; but not Wendy ~ Mira.

Well I don't know for sure, but if you're right that Wendy can shield against Irene's attacks (rather than it being enchantments dispelling the other like Deus Zero) then I am underestimating Wendy's ability. That's a fair point about Wendy being able to block one Alegria attack. Even if the barrier shatters (like it did against Chronos) then a lot of the attack power is taken away.

Actually, while it's true that Mira was exhausted after a single attack in Alegria, you have to also keep in mind that she did use a substantial amount of energy beforehand when she was in Satan Soul.

All the large explosions while simultaneously fighting a 1v2 battle costs a lot of energy. As far as Wendy goes, she is very good in her own right, but at the end of the day, she is still a support mage.

Mira's strongest points are her offensive power, so naturally, her nukes would cause her to tire out faster than Wendy who mostly uses enchantments.


As for your last statement, I gotta correct you on that.

Base Mira still hasn't beaten Jacob...

And considering Natsu resorted to FDKM to take out Jacob, I don't think it's weak that Mira can match the same dude in base form.

Even being on par with a Spriggan like Jacob in base form is pretty impressive compared to that of an average Ishgarian mage.

The way I see it, it's completely fair. Mira is in base form and has already run out of energy. If Jacob has not beaten Mira yet, then that means he is a lot weaker.

Mira is also only using hand-to-hand combat in base form.

If Mashima took Mira seriously, she could easily defeat a Spriggan like Jacob.

Mashima may know how to trash Spriggans, but he also knows how to trash characters like Mira as well.

Transport has no feats backing it up, but Mira actually has feats as a character.

The only thing I derive from Mira vs Jacob is that Mira might be able to solo Jacob. Other than that, their fight has been terrible and a shame for both parties.

I wish Ajeel fought Mira so then Erza vs Mirajane discussion could ensue.

BSS Mira is physically stronger, has bigger nukes, has way better cqc skills and can fly. DF wendy has equal speed to bss tho, but just because she can match mira’s speed doesn’t mean she can match her strength and cqc skills. If wendy tries to engage in cqc she would easily get rekt. After all, that’s mirajane’s bailiwick. Wendy would lose to a nuke fight, especially given the fact that mira can fly and spam nukes on air. Mira takes this mid diff.
