Well as this manga is a very good one in my opinion but is not all that popular here on these forums from what I am seeing (posting wise that is) I thought it would be a good idea to give a synopsis so that you would know the basic plot of the manga and then know what you are getting in to and would enjoy it.
The story revolves around Syaoran and Sakura for the most part; they are from the Clow Country. The story starts when Syaoran is excavating the ruins on Clow Country in his father’s footsteps after he passes away and Sakura is the princess of Clow Country and the childhood friend of Syaoran. Anyway one night Sakura is drawn into the ruins and stumbles upon a room that had not been in before and through a series of events (trying to build some suspense so you actually read the manga) her memories or for that part fragments of her soul get scattered over various dimensions in the form of feathers. But without the memories she would ultimately die, so Syaoran takes Sakura to the Dimensional witch, the only person that has the power to let them travel through dimensions in search of the feathers. Their they met two other people, Kurogane a samurai from a world that is still in feudal area and comes from Japan and Fai a Magician from a strange world that is covered in ice. All of them are seeking to travel to a different dimension for one reason or another and all of them have come to the dimensional witch with that wish. But the witch does not do things for free, as they will soon find out, each person traveling to a different dimension will have to pay a price, the thing that is most precious to them, and upon paying the price (if you want to know what the price was read the manga) they are introduced to the final member of their group, a “little white meat bun” as Kurogane constantly refers to him Mokona who has the power to travel through dimensions. This is the beginning of their journey as they travel to various worlds and meet various people. There are a few catches though, you may meet the same person in different worlds but the person will not always be the same, a friend from one world could be your worst enemy in the next. The worlds could be at war and you could get caught in it and killed.
This is the story of a journey, filled with action, comedy, and an occasional hint at romance and sadness. But for the most part it is a very interesting and fun manga to read. I hope I did a good enough job at explaining the basic plot while leaving out enough so that you would download what is not listed here.
Oh and as for where you can find the earliest chapters of the manga Be With You Scans has subbed them and they are done very well. So I hope you enjoy Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
