Please choose your favorite live action Disney movie of recent times (2000-current). Please, if you choose other, don't mention an animated movie (there's already a thread for that: Best Disney movie of all time). THANKS!

If Enchanted counts, because it had like, 10 minutes of animation, then that. If not...then the original PotC.

- Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy
- The Game Plan (was alright)

I much prefer the animation movies compared to the live action ones.

The first Pirates movie.

Aaaand that's it.. PotC 1 is imo the only Disney live-action post-2000 movie which is actually good. Unless I'm forgetting something? :oh

First Pirate movie for me, all the others I hated (they sucked)

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is definately a good oldie :D (scorpians are EVIL! Ants are wonderful! sob sob, so sad! ach, I got something in my eye... ya...!)

Bridge to Tarabithia! (good movie, except made me cry about the "spoiler")

(I can't remember off hand any movie on my own, so I just commented on ones that others have mentioned)

(I've seen some of the other movies mentioned, but they all sucked for me, lol)

-------------

P.S.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is an animated film by Tim Burton, but I don't know about this 3D thing, is it a live action movie?

QFT!

Even if it is 3D, I think it would still be considered an animated film…yes, a different kind of animation, but still an animated movie, this is all IMHO of course.

And I need to add two more movies to my list :):

"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian."

Another movie I need to add to my list: “Remember the Titans”. Fantastic movie with a great message.

The Jungle Book is my favorite movie atm. I am a big fan of the animated movie so I started to watch the movie with high expectations. Happily, the live-action version delivered and I wasn’t disappointed at all. On the contrary, I was fascinated by the movie from the very minute the first scene appeared on the screen!

Adding another movie to my list:
Descendants

The Jungle Book. I was blown away by how well it was done (I love the original) and then I would say the first few Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Maleficent was probably the most enjoyable for me.
Aladdin was pretty funny. It's up there too. Live-Action Disney movies aren't that strong to me, if I'm being honest. Prefer the cartoon versions.

Second would probably be Beauty and the Beast, and that's not all that good in grand scheme of things, imo. Luke Evans' performance is the biggest factor that made it watchable for me. Emma Watson was okay. It's a type of film you like after watching, but after two days, you'll forget everything other than the thing that nail that stuck, and for me, that was just Luke Evans, and not much else.

Mine would probably be Enchanted. It's still so much fun to watch.

The Jungle Book especially as I though it was going to be a poor adaptation of the animated version, which thankfully I was proven wrong.
