So we should start thinking what stops pirates from leaving Raftel? This is very interesting. SH might get there with no problem, leaving us wondering why it's so easy, and then, bam! it turns out the trick is to leave there alive :D It makes for a great plot twist!

I have in my mind the idea that the problem is not getting to Raftel... is that Raftel has no treasure whatsoever. At least at a Regular humans side. But lucky as Luffy is he will stomp a button and rise a whole island from the ground... Like in, "Raftel" had a big hole with water on it, when the button is pressed when Luffy presses the button, an Island, the true Raftel with lots of treasures, new technology and a Poneglyph. In front of the Poneglyph, a treasure box lies, with a message.
"Wealth, fame, power *lots of flashbacks*, through your journey you surely acquired all that, and by reaching this island, you proved your luck. I didn't lie, all my treasures are here, but I'm sure you won't need them. Your journey, the friends you made, all that are what make you the true "Pirate King". And together with that title I lend you one more thing, the true knowledge, do whatever you want with this."

Pirate King, Gol D. Roger

Watch Raftel be Mariejoa or something >.<. Well, that'd be stupid. Dark Lord, they called the Grand Line the Pirates graveyard, not Raftel. Wolf D. Arius, nice idea. This is what I know and think
Raftel is somehow protected by an unseen force, either creepy weather that's like intergalactical, protected by a monster or something, or its just that noone can get there because of the grand line. That doesn't rlly make sense, cuz one of the Yonkou could have easily gotten it already. I think Raftel maybe the ruins of the Void Country, and has the last Poneglyph on it, hence why Roger was the only known one to know the lost history. I don't like the idea of moving island or tortoise or something. That would be too overused. I bet something about the island is wrong. Upside down, no gravity, below the sea, something like that. I also believe all the crew mates dreams are tied with it. Luffy's, obviously, Franky's as well, Sanji, All Blue is in the perimeter, Nami must use super navigation and her world map to get there, Robin will be lead there by poneglyphs, Zoro, well like a hella powerful swordsman is there that he must over come? Chopper will have to save Luffy and crew from danger and or disease, Brooke, Laboon is there or goes there? Or his family?
Lol I wanna see the Sunny pulled by Laboon.

I understand and agree with Wolf D. Arius about the problem of not being able to leave Raftel as for why history would be told as "no one has ever reached Raftel." However, in Whitebeard's flashback Gol D. Roger specifically asked him if he wanted to know "how" to get there which shows that there is a higher probability of it being more of a case of something in the way that keeps anyone from getting there in the first place even with all the log poses from the seven different routes finally pointing there from the second to last island(s). The only thing I can think of is that its the same situation as when the straw hat pirates came to the red line and couldn't figure out how to get to fishman island even though the log pose was pointing to it. And the same case may apply where only someone who went there first and came back can tell someone else how to get there: the same way someone who had been to fishman island had to tell the straw hats that they had to get their ship coated before going there. Otherwise anyone at that situation would have to figure out how to do it on their own and so far no one else besides Gol D. Roger that has tried has been able to figure out how to get to Raftel. If I had to guess, I would say it's possible that Raftel is an island "inside" reverse mountain which would be a good way to keep people out that don't know how to get inside. If this is the case, All Blue would be the sea surrounding Raftel inside Reverse Mountain where channels of water from all the oceans flow into.

Dunno, I personally would find it a bit anticlimatic if the strawhats reach raftel and it turns out a ton of other people have already gotten there. Even if those people are trap or dead it would be weird. It is an interesting theory though.

Well, there has to be a final island, it is conceptually impossible that there isn't one.

A lack of Colour of Observation :P

My theory on Roger is that his CoO was beyond anything ever (Hense the 'he could hear the voice of all things')

Think about how Nami can navigate whirlpools and storms, this for me is her innate CoO, this is what Roger has but obviously to a much higher state.

So, if you don't have someone on your crew with that level of ability, maybe you're unable to see the correct path in the sea that would take you there.

I believe sth sort of mechanical hindrance, which might be even linked to some natural hindrance is blocking the path. Most likely the ancient kingdom, which is linked to the D family must have established it to protect the island. . If u can't read the old language, u won't get there... Just my two cents :p

Actually, there has to be a final island for each road, but it does not mean that there is the same final island for every road: it depends on the last island the Log Pose will point to.

So do you think Rough Tell is really the final island of the Grand Line ? Do all Log Poses point to it after each crew followed its own road ? If not, Rough Tell is not the final island of the Log Pose road but simply a legendary island somewhere on the New World's seas, and it means that there are different final islands for the Log Pose roads.

I also wonder what happens to the Log Pose after the ships reaches its Log Pose final island since it cannot point to a new island on the Grand Line. Does it become an Eternal Pose pointing to Rough Tell/final island ? And how can a crew find other islands when they leave their final island without their Log Pose working ?

I think regardless of the way you take at some point the log post at the very least has to point towards reverse mountain. I don't think that upon reaching the last island the log pose just stops working lol.

Based on that image, it looks well-know that Raftel is the last island and that all routes points to it.

Based on that it should be assumed that the Log Post does point to it, however no one can reach it.

Well an invisible island would be the greatest hindrance of all XD

so COO should be heighten and believe that you are really docking in on an island that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

I think there will be some crazy and super-dangerous trial, a little like the knock-up stream but 1000 times more insane, so that if you are not truly the bravest one you can't reach Raftel. Whitebeard didn't go there because he wasn't interested in that kind of thing, while Shank doesn't want to go there because he already went and one time was enough.

Well,
.first obvious reason is the difficulty to reach the island due to many strong opponent in the new world. Most of those pretentious pirates would end up killed or they'll just give up on their dreams.

.Second reason would be the four emperors. The fact that they're all set in the new world means that they are playing a big role in this issue.I mean why are they all located in the new world? Why not in the red line or some other places?Could it be that even them are trying to find the one piece but cannot reach it?Or they all know about it and decided to protect it for the chosen one.But one thing is sure, they're a huge wall that is almost impossible to break for those who desire to reach raftel.

.Third reason would be the government.Just by taking a fast look at this portion of the chapter 395 and some pages after that, you'll realise that even the government do not want the true about raftel to be known.

.And the fourth reason which is just a thought of mine,i think the reason why raftel is even more impossible to reach,is because the island has no magnet so the log post cannot point on it.Which means, enless you very talented navigator(Nami) and someone who can read the poneglyghs(Robin) you want be able to reach the island. So most of the few pirates to get near it would just assumed that it doesn't exist or would search it for year and never find it.

The main reason is that people don't know where One Piece is, even if some can travel anywhere in the New World because they have nothing to fear from the seas. That was seen during Roger and Whitebeard's flashback when Roger asked Whitebeard if he wanted to know where Raftel is. Despite Whitebeard being (almost) Roger's equal, he still had no clue about the legendary island and would not have found it if he had wanted to.

^I'm pretty sure that Roger left some clue on how to find it like the note he left in Skypiea.Since i doubt he would send people on a journey to search for a treasure without leaving them any clue, what i think is that there is probably a riddle to solve in order to find it.I'm sure that Roger will use the poneglyph's language(writting) to communicate this riddle.
And see for me that what makes One piece even harder to find. The fact that there is almost nobody that is able to read or understand that dead language anymore and that why having someone like Robin on your crew is a huge step ahead on this matter.

So for me the main reason why people cant find One piece is because they cant understand the language that Roger used to help them find it.
