Even before the Great Age of Piracy, WB was considered the WSM. Very interesting. Was this after Rodgers illness began?

well, kaidou is also considered as world strongest creature.
Seemed like wsm and wsc are just hype tools though. I think pirate king will always still be strongest , bar possibility of Im being ultimate villain.

But up until this new data we were lead to believe Garp, WB, and Rodger were the highest tier of opponent.

If WB was the WSM back then, they shouldn't have been considered equal.

I like you believe WSS and WSM and WSC are hype tools mor than 100% fact.

one piece story is just messed up with power inconsistency. Like how could mihawk couldnt finish off vista under a minute, when he was supposed to have a draw against a yonkou shanks? This is why i said wsc and wsm are just hype for them.

Data confirms Vista had the skills to compete with Mihawk.

I just opened another thread about it.

It more closely confirms WSS is skill based and not strength based.

Vivre Card databook. I've been keeping up to date with it but noone seems to be posting about it on this forum.

I'll find the thread for it and post the most recent info that's been released. Between that and the SBS for Vol 91, there's a lot of information to discuss at the beginning of this month.

I think Kaido, BM and WB were always physically stronger than Roger.
Its even possible that Kaido and Big Mom are stronger than WB. WB being WSM doesnt collide with BM being WSW and with Kaido being WSC.
I think WB was also called WSP and that is also not an issue since it doesnt imply a 1vs1, which we know that Kaido should be bet on, but the entire might of his fleet and WB was ahead in that aspect for sure.

Not saying that Roger was weak but he more likely was like Luffy, outsmarting them and having luck on his side, which we know for a fact, at least in battle of Edd war.

According to one character from the Ace novel: Whitebeard is called the "strongest pirate" because of "the way he lived". Kaido is the "strongest creature" because he can defeat anyone on a 1-on-1 fight. Big Mom has the "strongest family". And he doesn't know much about Shanks.

World's strongest man = Whitebeard (when he was alive)
World's strongest creature = Kaidou (because he is a creature lol)
World's strongest swordsman = Mihawk because he is a human but not the strongest human but best with a sword.

What I am trying to say is we have never seen Whitebeard fight with Kaidou the creature but Whitebeard was somewhat implied to be stronger than Kaidou but not explicitly so. This makes me think they can be equal in strength. One is a human and one is a creature. You can even say Kaidou is stronger than whitebeard because a human is a type of creature. Now the important thing to note is what if Roger was known as the worlds strongest Pirate? That would put him above Whitebeard and Kaidou. I know there's loopholes in this but I think you guys get my point.

The Pirate King isn't the strongest though, as far as I recall there has been no mention of Roger beating Big Mom and Kaidou for the Poneglyphs, or that he even fought them at all, just that he got away.

the discussion on Zou even said that Luffy didn't have to beat the Yonkou to become the Pirate King, he just had to get to Raftel and find One Piece. There's a pretty good chance that the Yonkou are/were stronger than Roger, and that he was seen as the strongest only because he managed to get away from opponents alive and got to Raftel.

So Whitebeard is the strongest pirate. I think that implies in terms of a threat as an individual or a group to the world government or the marines. But about Kaido, it is clearly as an individual or someone you don't wanna fight with.
