The person she killed is of importance.

What happened after she saw that Person?

We clearly see Annie looking at that person and right after that she decided to climb the wall.

I think the priest is the only survivor, she was probably surprised because she didn't want to kill him and was relieved when she saw him alive. I wonder if that woman who was praying is not related to Christa.

I think you guys are looking too deep into this one. The 'reaction' was just distress from seeing that she squashed some people.

I wouldn't be surprised if the cult guy meant something to her. What's more interesting to me though is how he can be such a hypocrite, going "How dare you" while he's stepping on his injured/dead fellow cult member's hand.

Most likely she didn't wanted to kill these people, hence why the surprised face.

She had tailed a few Wall Cult fellows before right? So she might actually know that person. It maybe Christa's mom or stepmom or some relative. Or maybe Annie's relative. Why else would she receive three panels to herself?

I'll stay on the "Annie just did not intend to kill innocents during her escape" for now. But yeah, I think we might be in front of one more instance of Isayama foreshadowing things.

It looks like she could be Annie's mother.

Yeah, looking again I do think there might be something about this. & I agree with Fayte, if you look closely this woman looks related to Annie. Like a mother or older sister...

Hmm, I think Annie was surprised that she killed those people unintentionally. But it looks suspicious for her to shown in so much panel..
I wonder in the 1st pic, did she cried or just opening her eyes a little?

Looks to me like she's taking a peek when she's supposed to have her eyes closed (praying).
