I'm not sure that I see the connections between all of the images. The only ones that sort of seem a bit similar are the first two. How do the other images xxxHolic, and to what sort of connection are trying to draw attention, i.e., is there some sort of theory about how this relates to the manga or the characters?

I agree with Tsukisama, the first two pictures look similar, and the last one looks like yokai. I can't find the connection with the rest. I'll keep thinking about it.

clamps s world is such confusing , they always connect one anime to other. i liked kobato , but for some reason or other stopped Dl ing the eps.
how is watanukl being shown in kobato?? is he the shop master already or the part time worker?
and on what context is he shown?

Hi everone, long time no speak on the TRC forum!

I was watching the end of Kobato episode 19 that has just been released and it looked like Fai and Mokona was in the small clip fro episode 20. I know this episode was written by Nanase Okawa from Clamp, but can anyone confirm that what i saw was true? Is it Fai?!

Yup! I just watched ep 20!!! It's them, though the designs are different: Kurogane's eyes; Fai wears his hair in a ponytail, just like Fujimoto; and Mokona's ears and wings (I like the wings design).

Fai seems to know what Kobato is (aaaaahhh... I want to know too!!!). It was more or less like this:

Fai looked at her hat.

Then, before they left...

Fai: Hey, Kobato-chan is an...

Ioryogi: Huh?

Fai: Right? But she doesn't seem very confident. People from other worlds can't do anything but watch over her. Even us. Take good care of her.

Ioryogi: You don't even have to tell me.

Near the end, after the rabbit appears...

Ioryogi: Kobato, you're really running out of time.

Note: Just copied the subs of the episode. I almost don't know Japanese.

They were wearing the clothes that Sakura gives them at the end of the Manga! I love that!

And Watanuki was wearing the clothes from Holic Rou in episode 18.

I assume that Kobato is set after TRC but during Rou then?

What i guess im am trying to say is that you are God, and that you are not evil...

see watanuki stands where "YIN", or "EVIL", would stand, but we most certainly know that our Watanuki-kun is the farthest thing from evil in the universe ! Doumeki standing opposite from him...he too is also good !

Why is it that spirits dont haunt Doumeki...Why is it that Doumeki cannot see spirits ? These are very important questions.

As the series progressed watanuki found that the most troublesome...dangerous spirits he encountered weren't yokai,..but instead PEOPLE...people are the strangest creatures in the world...

Doumeki...thanks to his upbringing and strict discipline...is able to negate spirits because he handles his responsibility. When a man...or woman...neglects their responsibility the universe falls out of harmony and tries to re assert itself. This usually manifest itself in the way of BAD LUCK ...or people lashing out at you and or haunting you...which was watanuki's case. Doumeki pushes evil spirits away because a spirit cannot stand before...or even touch a another spirit that is righteous.

Your demons are always of your own making...this is perhaps the most important thing yuuko-san was trying to teach watanuki...and doumeki so adequestly called him a moron because he just didn't get it.

Well, that's a very interesting way of looking at the story's dynamics.

The pictures are a bit convoluted though; they don't all go together with what you were saying. So I think that's why nobody really got your point before.

Yin and Yang, however, are not good and evil. They are just the balance of the universe. While one does equal light and the other shadow, shade can be comforting on a sunny day, and night can be calming. Yin needs yang. Light needs shadow. It's just a mutual cycle in nature.

I think Yuuko brought Watanuki and Doumeki together because they are each-other's yin and yang. They bring balance to each other. Watanuki sees, Doumeki acts. Watanuki opens himself up to help others, Doumeki protects him in his vulnerable state. Because they are opposites, they often argue. But because they balance each other, they stay together.

So in that respect, they do work with the yin-yang principle at least.

It seems Doumeki's grandfather knew the lyrics of the song that the shamisen taught Watanuki...
I wonder when Wata will take off his glasses again (hopfully he wont be afraid of taking it off anymore)...

I think its a mermaid's tail though cause that's when he first saw it and the second time was after learning from the spider lady that the girl had eaten the flesh of a mermaid... maybe they're connected?

Wow, thanks for letting us know. That is puzzling news!

It's never really struck me as a shounen style series... so I wonder why they're moving it to a shounen magazine. I hope it doesn't get kicked out for not having enough action.

And does that say it's not coming out till JUNE?!?!

I'm pretty sure they changed it because of all the apperent breaks it had, which was more of a monthly or bi-weekly releases. I just hope the chapters at least get longer in size.
