Kohane wished to save her mother giving her own powers as payment. When the wish entrusted to her heart was granted, a feather came out of her body. That was...

Kohane's seeing ability and the feather's purification power are different things. And the times when she got the two don't match. Is this also an effect of the collapse of space-time?

In Mokona's earring are sealed two memories. One is Sakura-replica's memory of Shaoran. The other is Watanuki's memory of the payment for the wish from before he first came to the shop.

Shortly afterwards, Kohane wakes up. She still has her seeing abilities. Should something happen, Watanuki and company will come to her aid.

A new world is tied by the meeting with comrades and the feelings towards her mother. The future that extends ahead of her smile envelopes Kohane in "happiness"!!

You do have the point though, since FWR sent doc to capture the feather in the dream worldeven after c!sakura's soul disappeared

xxxHolic also seems to be starting it's final arc already...but I wonder, what was Watanuki's wish before he even came to this shop...and when Yuuko mentioned that Watanuki did that for the sake of the two futures...did he mean Syaoran and Sakura's future?

Watanuki wouldn't be the type who thinks for himself...he would be more worried for people that are really close and precious to him...and besides, did Watanuki know about Syaoran and Sakura way before he ever step into Yuuko's shop?

This chapter offers a little more "logic" to the series. In the meantime, I reiterate what I've been speculated since last year...

- Watanuki seems like one who decides: Changing his future and say goodbye to the past, or live in the past and stay away from the changing future.

- Crazy thought: Yuuko is Watanuki's mother?

Well, you'd have to read Tsubasa to get this, but watanuki wished to protect the TSR group. The price was the memories of those he love, those he knew, everything he has easten, etc. The wish also included the memory of making the wish.

Himawari sort of went away after her arc was over, and she was watanuki's heart crush from the very start. it wouldn't be the first girl to just disappear.

Himawari hasn't had much of a role, I know she's Watanuki's crush and all, but the reasons for her existence seem to be comic relief and making Watanuki change slowly. Plus, given the fact that she's been there from the very start, as you've said, it would be odd for her not to ever appear or be mentioned again, in my opinion.

ok, so I have a little theory going on and I would like to know what other people think about it. I realized this after watching the last two manga chapters, which I think is a trip to the past. Well, my theory is that Watanuki and Eriol Hiiragizawa (from cardcaptor sakura) are the same person, or at least that watanuki is a half (i doubt complete) reincarnation of clow reed. there is some time problem for him to be Eriol Hiiragizawa, since in the last manga sakura and shaoran from cardcaptor are married, but maybe something happened in between. If he is a reincarnation, that would explain why shaoran and watanuki are so close. also, it could be Eriol Hiiragizawa because he looses all his memory, and watanuki knows Yuuko before the event of the manga, he just cant remember the event because of the wish, so Eriol Hiiragizawa went to the shop to make sure their future is secured. Also, it is good to mention, that with little doubt, the japan of watanuki and the japan of sakura cardcaptor are the same.

Please let me know what you think!! privates would be the best, also, let me know if anyone else has thought of this before!!!

so watanuki being a reincarnation of Clow as Eriol seems unlikely to me.
However, if we go that line, watanuki could be the son of Eriol and that woman teacher, which should make these two from the same generation
but this theory is not plausible to me, it would be more like he is syaoran's brother of sort

I think for the first time we might have a XXXHOLiC tankoubon composed by 13 chapters. The number of pages per chapter in this volume were fewer so they might add an extra chapter. According to my previous counts, Chapter 156 should have been the last chapter for volume 13, but I'm not so sure anymore, specially since there are no breaks between that chapter and the following, and no mentions of color pages either. We'll see.

I think the acutal last manga chapter (157) said at the very end that the manga returns at the start of June with color pages. Let me double check....

Yes, according to the Edited Manga, there was a note at the end of the chapter. It says that the manga will return on June 2nd, there will be color pages, and more pages than usual.
