I'd copy Killua's natural prerequisite for lightning tolerance, by having the user subject himself to fire torture.
There is fire torture? O_O
I would say that your ability is cool, but somehow I can't imagine it without you having an already burned part of your body. Don't ask me why.
Nen Type : Emittion /Transmutation [Either will do since the ability uses both]
Name : Spikes of Light
Uses reidue on earth of leftover emittion energy [u may even store in one spot / hole intentianlly , just a mass concentration of ur Nen] and using transmutation , gives it rebirth to go wild and attack . Each attack is also imbunes by transmutation which makes all pain recived feel 2x more for 5 secs and is cumillative .
I did not understood your technique. So you transform your aura into what exactly? It rebirth what? I couldn't get it, honestly.
And it seems more than Manipulation/Intensification combo rather than Emission/Tranformation.
Er... actually I've one more condition which will restrict it more but I'll change it later because I wanna to try make another type of hatsu. Post which contain the other condition which I'll give is actually moved to HxH hangout thread (by Uriel of course....). I'm just lazy to change my original post
Are you implying something? ¬¬
LOL, I moved because it was mostly about the tournament which I have already more and less finished (Rules and how it will work) and here it only goes offtopic.

@Zellogan
Can the user choose the color of chocobo? I find summoning only yellow chocobo is pretty boring....

Nah, I'm not implying anything. I just answer them beforehand if I got some proof. That's all.

Sorry I didnt have the time to type the whole description b4 . Anyways , here I go :

Firstly the Hatsu has many parts :

Part 1 :
Name : Random Bomber
Nen Used : Emittion
Well Emmition type is combined with manipulation so that instead of hurting the opponent , the emmition's main job is to infact to be dodged and hit the earth . Once the earth is hit , the nen is then what you might say stored in the earth like what u see traps in MMORPGs [or ro some extent Landmines] except it doesnt trigger when u put ur foot on it .
The reason its called Radom bomber is that its mixed in with emittion attacks that actually can hurt .
Properties :
Bombers do very low damage if they hit while take a lot of nen to be formed .
Non-bombers burst on ground releasing all nen if they remain untouched .

Part 2 :
Name : Pain
Nen Usage : Transformation
The stored up nen gain the pain attribute . Depending on Nen used , the range if bombers gaining the mark varies .
Properties :
For every pain mark that hits ur opponent , he/she feels 2x more pain for any pain caused . This effect may cascade to 2x2x2x2x......... due its cumilative property .
For every mark on anyone , the user gains a partial pain mark as well which has the same effect and is also cummilative
Pain marks last for 5 secs while partial pain marks last for 3 secs each .

Part 3 :
Name : Pheonix Spikes
Nen Usage : I have no idea here , maybe Manipulation
The BOMBERS stored inside the earth activate .
It uses all the nen stored and also cummilates the non-bombers splats if pausible .
The nen comncentrations then emit emittions which will put pain marks and also damage for good damage .
Properties :
The direction of the bursts is non controlable , the burst will come out pependicular to the ground surface that they are on .
The earth must be in touch
---------

When they come out they look like towers /spikes of light and hence called Light Spikes .
You need to be careful as the spell might just end up hurting u instead .
Lengthy and hence , Part 2 : Pain can be skipped for faster cast / set up .
Since you also take partial pain effect , ur best of being the type of ppl that love feeling pain .

I realized how much Manipulation was needed , hence looking at placement of Emittion and Manipulation in mastery table , best used either by Scarlet eyes or 2 seperate people .

Here are a few ideas. I'm either transfromation or manipulation so here goes :).
1. "Drizzle"-Manipulation (uses elements of materialisation)
Allows me to summon a rain whether I'm indoors or outdoors. Anyone who is wet by this rain (with is my nen) can be 'turned-off' (unable to move or percieve anything). While this ability is active, I am unable to move from the spot I was in when the ability was initiated. When those affected dry off, the effects wear off. It can be avoided with a nice umbrella or a goad raincoat :). The longer someone stays in the rain the longer it will take for them to dry so my ability would affect them for longer. The larger the range of the rain, the shorter the period the rain lasts for (harder it is to maintain would be a better way to put it though if it's harder to maintain it would probably last for less time anyway :) ). Manipulation users lean slightly towards emission so I could imagine the range could be quite large but the further away the rain is the lighter it is too. One final condition is that my rain cannot make rainbows or become hail or snow.
2. Magnetic Man- transformation
Anything that is coated with my nen gains magnetic properties (the more aura used, the more powerful the magnet). The poles go in order (positive then negative) so the first thing i touch will be positive and then he next one will be negative ( i have no choice in the matter). The further away the object is the weaker the pull since emission isn't too cooperative with transformation.Simples.
3.Wish Game- Manipulation (i think it fits maniupulation...but it would kind of be maniuplation of space/time...otherwise we can call it specialisation)
Everyone within my En is forced to play a game. Each participant can decide on what their prize is (but the prize has to relate to another participant e.g. you become my slave, you die, you give me all your money or you tell me this). The rules are randomly generated by the nen as well as the forfeit (the forfeit depends on the value of the demand). The loser suffers from the forfeit and the prize of the victor (The order of the forfeit and prize may vary but for example, if the forfeit was death, then the prize (if it wasn't the death of a loser but rather an action that must be performed)would come first because it could not happen the other way round. An action that can hinder another action if performed before it, is instead performed after the action that it could hinder...sorry it's confusing). Breaching the rules of the game is an automatic forfeit. Once the game begins rules cannot be changed and the game cannot be cancelled until in finishes. No other hatsu can be used during the game but basic nen abilities like ken or In still apply.

First post, hey!

Lots of fun ideas and abilities, but some are a bit broken. To create some of the abilities people want, they really need to up the restrictions.

Anyway, I did a few of the different tests, and I've gotten everything except for Conjuration/Materialization and Specialization, so I came up with a few abilities. These would all be based around different characters whose back-stories I've also been working on.

Manipulation:

Simply put the user manipulates temperature by subtracting heat using the palms and fingertips of their hands and soles of the feet. The surface/air/material must be touching the palm/fingertips/soles to be used (extremely limited range as a restriction to speed up the heat subtraction). Also the more surface of my palms/soles that are touching will speed up the subtraction (so just touching someone might cause a minor freezer burn but grabbing with both hands for a short time might make the arm unusable.
Applications of this:
1. Ice Elf Cometh - with a simple manipulation core I would build an elf made of ice (more elves need simpler commands and are much shorter/weaker, fewer elves are larger/stronger and can handle more complex commands). If just one elf is going to be used, the user can enter a meditative trance to allow themselves to see whatever that elf sees (restricted to sight).
2. Cold Storage - freeze the air around my hands to create solid weapons of ice (which would then need to be reinforced) like swords, axes, spears, throwing stars, darts, etc.
3. Deep Freeze - because the subtracted heat would need to go somewhere, the person could create a cold field around their body (maybe a meter at max potential). Within the field/sphere, all physical movements, including the user, drastically decrease (does not apply to nen balls and such, so bullets from a gun would slow down but something like Franklin's nen bullets would not)
4. Iceberg Barrier - create a thick wall of ice to protect from incoming nen projectiles

The character lives at one of the poles but decides he wants more than ice fishing and a simple life so he takes the Hunter's exam because he wants to see the world, starts to miss home while studying nen so develops this ability in order to remind him of home while he is adventuring.

Enhancement/Transformation:

This character always adored superhero comics (his favorite being the Amazing Spider-Man). Grows up and wants to help people, best way to do that is become a hunter. His ability would work for either reinforcement or transformation (probably somewhere in between would be best). Because he was such a Spidey-fan, the inspiration should help in creating/applying the ability. He gives his aura the properties of a spider's web (stickiness). With enhancement he focuses on enhancing his speed, agility, and sense of balance/equilibrium and making his webs stronger/stickier (and obviously his strength). Detached from the body, the web can only last a minute with severely reduced stickiness. Webs come from the wrist with a simple motion (anyone who has read Spider-Man knows the motion)
Applications:
1. Web-swinging, grabbing things from long range, catching people off guard by snagging their feet
2. the "sticky" aura can be applied to the user's own skin allowing him to crawl on walls/ceilings and such

Emission

Character's parents were both hunters and died in a strange jungle. The baby was thought to be lost but saved by a local wolf pack. The wolves raised him (think Mowgli from the Jungle Book). At age 14 he was found by a hunter exploring the forest (the boy naturally obtained nen thanks to his environment but could only use the basics of it. The hunter took him as an apprentice and taught him nen. Because he had to leave the pack he decided his ability would be wolf nen-beasts so he is never alone. A secondary ability (somewhat nen-related, somewhat-environment related) is the ability to talk to wolves and other creatures closely related to wolves. First restriction would be feeling his Wolf-Brothers' pain. Second would be to use any wolf-brother's special ability, they can be the only one summoned. All 3 can be summoned but they cannot use any special ability (basically just wolves that can bite/claw and assist in the fight). Desummoning the wolves is instant, but summoning a wolf requires my blood to touch something of that wolf-brother's color. The wolf-brother's can handle fairly complex commands commands thanks to the restrictions and background of the character.

Wolf-Brothers (name - color and ability):
1. Ash - grey wolf, the hunter of the pack, can go the farthest from the user. As long as the user does not move he can use Ash's sight, hearing, and sense of smell.
2. Midnight - black wolf, the melee fighter, as long as the user and Midnight are within 15 meters of each other, they may switch places/teleport
3. Snow Moon - mouth becomes a nen cannon (restricted use of 1 time a week for more damage)

Obviously all of these abilities would be after attaining peak efficiency with my hatsu. Look forward to the critique!

I really like both the Spidey and Mowgli techniques; they're well-rounded and cool - can't see anything wrong! :)

The Ice technique I think is plausible too, but since the range is so small (it would have to be), I think the Ice Barrier would be too slow to form for it to be effective in combat. After all, it would have to be pretty damn thick to stop nen bullets from an experienced nen user. The only other flaw I can think of is Cold Storage; nothing wrong with the technique in and of itself, it's just that it involves freezing your own hands. Whether this is advisable or not I'll leave up to your own discretion. :P

Here's another technique I've thought up:

Name: Send and Retrieve (I've been meaning to think up a new one. Any suggestions?)
Type: Emission/Manipulation (I'm not sure which it leans towards more.)
Summary: The user can Manipulate a target's distance (Emission) from them. To activate, they must land one punch on the target (either animate or inanimate) to begin Manipulation. From then on, when the user pulls their [own] arm close to their [own] body, the target will be drawn towards them. When the user extends their arm away from their body, the target will be pushed away from them.
The distance and speed the target will travel when the user activates this technique is proportional to the distance and speed the user moves their arm (eg. a fast punch will send the target flying; a slow own will push them back more slowly, and not so far).

The further from the user the target is, the less control the user has over them; if the target is more than 50m (too far?) away from the user, then the technique will cease to affect them; they are freed from its control.
The target, if animate, still retains all other control over their body, including nen, besides being subject to movement imposed on them by the user.

Restrictions: The user can only affect two things maximum at a time; one corresponding to each of their arms.

Commentary: Since the target still has control over the rest of their movements, they can predict and respond to their movement. For example, if they're being drawn in to the user for an attack, they can still prepare a counter-attack, or a defense, or however they choose to respond.

It also means they can fight against the technique by walking or running in the opposite direction the one the user is trying to send them. Which direction they end up moving in, and how fast, will depend on the speed with which the target is running, and the distance and speed of the arm movement the user is making. To illustrate: this phenomenon would very similar running up the 'down' escalator.

This technique I see as being mostly defense-oriented, for the purpose of driving an enemy away and/or avoiding attacks, rather than lethal. I think it's main offensive potential would be to hold an enemy in place whilst an ally prepares a finishing attack (though even that they could defend against - just not dodge).

Well, where would absorbed heat be released too? Depending on the object I would think you could meet some severe side effects. Say water, which can absord A LOT of energy. If the absorbed energy remains in your body you could actually burn yourself which is not good. If you want to make cold air for example, you would not be able to release the heat you absorb into the air because it would beat the purpose of doing it to begin with (unless you follow the principle of an air conditioner and release it elsewhere however that would seem unpractical unless you plan on using your ability only on closed places and where you can easily release heat to the outside.

How AR (Attract and Reject)? I can't find better name because it seems like a psychokinetic to me... Make range as your restriction is good, but it'll restrict the growth of your technique. That's also why I use En range as my restriction, so my technique range can get better if I grow stronger. By the way, it's not emission. It's pure manipulation just like one of Spider who uses needle to activate the techni
que, I forgot her name...

Sorry I didnt have the time to type the whole description b4 .
Well, now I get a glimpse of it. Although the three techniques are not handy considering that using En alone would be enough. And even if not, there is always ranged attacks.
Also, there is no limitation? Or when you say randomly means that you don't know either where those bombs are?
Magnetic Man- transformation
I like it, very handy and versatile.
I can't imagine how the training for magnet feeling would be though xD
Wish Game- Manipulation (i think it fits maniupulation...but it would kind of be maniuplation of space/time...otherwise we can call it specialisation)
Mmmm, I think it's too powerful for the rules you're putting. It's not enough to sustain kill when forfeited.
I think you need to add this rule "You must explain your ability to the opponent before entering the game or activate En"
First post, hey!
Welcome! I hope you have fun in this forum. There is plenty of threads to comment on, so I encourage to go have fun with those as well. Discussions are somewhat heated up but there is always places for one more to join the debate :P

Manipulation:Simply put the user manipulates temperature by subtracting heat using the palms and fingertips of their hands and soles of the feet.
I like the technique, but I think it's not manipulation what works best here. The elfs maybe, but I think you would need a high quantity of Transformation by making your aura "cold". Simpler is more effective after all.

Enhancement/Transformation:
His ability would work for either reinforcement or transformation (probably somewhere in between would be best). He gives his aura the properties of a spider's web (stickiness).
Well, that's quite fun. You made me think if I can apply Nen System to superheroes...and most of them apply.

Emission
Wolf-Brothers (name - color and ability):
1. Ash - grey wolf, the hunter of the pack, can go the farthest from the user. As long as the user does not move he can use Ash's sight, hearing, and sense of smell.
2. Midnight - black wolf, the melee fighter, as long as the user and Midnight are within 15 meters of each other, they may switch places/teleport
3. Snow Moon - mouth becomes a nen cannon (restricted use of 1 time a week for more damage)
Can't see how the third one applies to the story, actually. I know you want to make a range out of it, but seems somewhat inconsistent with the rest. I like the ability, though I think it requires Materialization rather than Emission. Remember that creating an object with special qualities is the thing of that school.
I would make the third one a shield for you. If the black one can switch places with the other wolves, I would make the third one switch with me. Kinda like Gorainu ability.
Name: Send and Retrieve (I've been meaning to think up a new one. Any suggestions?)
Type: Emission/Manipulation (I'm not sure which it leans towards more.)
Manipulation for sure. Although I think it needs a condition to free if achieved.
It's interesting, although I see highly unpractical having your hand close to the chest when they're close to you since that leaves you practically undefended. Say that 1 on 1 wouldn't matter, but if the limit is two people, you're forced to move your hand in a fight, moving the other two targets closer when you are defending yourself and one is always meant to have a chance to make a big hit using the impulse of your own ability.
Don't know if I'm being clear with it >_>

These are things i love to play on RPGs and i lie kinda often. xD Actually i would have 2 "modes".

Fusion of Weapons and Armor

Eas thing, just combine two weapons u already have into one more powerful or into another thing. Like. A Shield + Sword --> Thornshield, or a Spear and a Axe --> Huge hellebard.
Its kinda the basicthing.

And the second:

Adding elements to the Weapons/Armor

Also very easy. Fire + Axt --> Fireaxt. Earth + Shield --> Stronger Shield.

Combined it could be as example:

An Huge Thornshield which paralyzes with the thunderlement an attacking opponent. Or Boots they can make u faster thanks to the windelement. :o Its a very flexible, but not to powerful technique strongly depending on what you will use it for.

The idea of merging stuff is quite interesting, actually. It's a whole ability itself (Uses Manipulation mostly, I assume) and it's quite handy. Reminds me OP :P

But it's awesome to be able to merge non-living stuff. A handy technique.

The black wolf, Midnight, wouldn't be able to switch with any other wolf as each wolf's special ability can only be used if they are the only one running around. Also, I don't think that materializing a living creature would be possible, especially if the user wants that creature to not always be in contact with them. It is similar to Golimu's ability, who I always thought was also an emission user. If it's a materialization ability, then for the story purposes I would just switch the character's nen type to materialization. I would also change Snow Moon's ability to poisonous fangs (might as well use that transformation, must be within 5 meters of the user, non-lethal, slow acting poison that knocks the user unconscious). Don't want to make her a shield as a restriction is to feel each wolf-brother's pain so it would be a pretty useless shield.

I also really like the previous 2 mentioned abilities. Send and Retrieve is great, simple, and really effective, especially if you are working with an ally who knows your ability.

Combining things would be great (agree its manipulation), but combining any two things would be a bit much, might want to think of some more restrictions. There's a American comic book character called B'wana Beast who could combine any two animals he touched (as well as separate them). Sounds like a great ability though.

Storm's End
Hatsu Type: Emission

Ability: The Universe of the Four Gods

Explanation: be engulfed in a malevolent aura that takes the form of a Shinto priest with four masked faces (each facing the four directions of a compass) with 8 arms (a pair for each face) but the trade-off is mobility (rooted to the spot, whether in air, land or water until nen runs out)
  • the north face wearing a turtle mask holding a black turtle shell shield, when activated it has near-impregnable defense (but cannot attack), can absorb nen-based attacks weaker than its level mastery, but can only block attacks from a single direction (in front of it)
  • the west face wearing a tiger mask that dual-wields longswords it uses to strike and parry its enemy's attacks. Attacks are swift, but can be evaded. A strong enough attack can break the sword(s).
  • the south face wearing a bird mask that has one of its hands holding prayer beads and the other pointing forward. It engulfs its target (pointed by the finger) in magnificent flames, even using the enemies' own nen as fuel for its fire. However, its slow hand motion can counteract itself.
  • the east face wearing a dragon mask that has both hands in prayer can summon a couple of meteors one after another to hit the area (centered around the caster) consecutively. the user dies (who wouldn't after getting hit by a meteor, let alone a couple?)

Conditions:
(Will think up of conditions later. Anyone wanna brainstorm with me?

Drawbacks
Limited range. (Offset by the range the eastern face can cover, but at what cost?)
Mobility tradeoff. Rooted to the spot until you run out of nen, deactivate the ability or die.

A few questions....
1. You'll be rooted to the spot, but can you change direction?
2. If there are 4 enemies, each in every direction. Can those faces use skills at the same time?

PS: It's not Emission, it's Materialization and better change the east face skill, even Zeno's skill who considered as a great Nen-users in HxH doesn't have attack as powerful as that.

well, you can change direction, but the four faces can't attack/defend simultaneously (only one at a time). the nen armor (I chose emission because it can't be seen by normal people, and it is somewhat akin to ren, but with the form of a gigantic statue) can rotate to face its intended enemy, or the user inside change direction he's facing.

and the east face skill is basically a suicide, taking everything along with it. Can't think of anything else for now, might have to come back later and clarify (and change) some things.

Well, the armor could potentially work with emission/transmutation however it would not be a real, physical object. Given the combination of nen types it would require though, I do think it makes far more sense as a conjured ability. Also, you cannot deactivate it at will and you have to wait until you run out of nen? It seems far too unpractical.

Here's some ideas, sorry for my english.

-Big brush : materialisation : (inspired from Yuyu hakusho).
A big brush (like Morau's pipe) and when you're hit with the painting your weight increase)

-Rainbow crescent : reinforcement :
7 levels of reinforcements based on colors, depending on the emotionnal state of the user from red to purple, the more the user's emotionnal state is overwhelming, the more he becomes powerfull, the eyes'color could change from red-orange-yellow-green-blue-indigo-purple. Basic level is Red, max anger/rage/sadness/stress is purple.

-Nen backer : Specialisation :
Everytime you are hit or witness an ability, it is memorized. When the user activates his ability, it activates a memorized ability randomly. He cannot choose or use another ability before using it.

-Tracking feather : Emission : (inspired form Lanfeust)
When the user thinks strongly of someone, he materialises a feather which will follow the target everywhere on the world, you just have to follow the feather to find the target. (Hisoka would like this ability ^^)

-Death note : specialisation : (inspired from death note and the last chapter)
When you write the full name of someone in the note, he dies. When activated, you need to ask for the name and the target must answer you directly within one minute. Payement : combat ablities are nullified when the nen is activated. Basically, everything is settled in one mintue, huge ability, but huge risk

-Hourglass of fortune : reinforcement :
The user materialises an hourglass. For 3 minutes, his nen is greatly increased, after that time, it reverses and for 3 minutes, the nen of the target is greatly increased.

-Astral projection : Emission : The user creates an auric copy of himself than can fly, is invisible (unless with Gyo) and can go throught the walls, but cannot interact with matter.

-Vampire blade : Materialisation :
Materialise a black blade, each time you hit the target, you drain a certain amount of aura.

-Dematerialise : Materialisation : (the ability i would choose)
You can dematerialise (unmaterialise? well, make disapear) everything you can lift with your left hand/arm and that object is stocked somewhere. Anytime you can re-materialise anything with your right hand. Does not work on peoples and animals. You must have the strengh to lift the object. (So convenient, imagine, you could materialise everything, water, a bazooka, weapons, ropes, food, anything...)

And finally, not an ability but a cool situation i have thought of. Imagine someone with a big materialised two-handed sword attacking someone with way much aura, and the dude blocks off the sword with his cigarette just infusing nen within it. Wouldn't it be cool ?

Big Brush looks good.

Not sure what the Rainbow crescent would be, doesn't seem like reinforcement. Also, getting angry seems like an easy thing to do to increase your power. Someone else might give better input for this one.

Nen backer might work if it is get hit by the ability. I think seeing an ability is too simple of a condition for copying an ability (even if it's a one time use, no control over what ability pops up). Even then if it's something like a materialized object, could you just never let it disappear and always have the ability? Seems a bit over the top especially as we've seen 2 copy/steal ability characters and their conditions are extremely strict.

The tracking feather ability would also be materialization, and you would probably need to fulfill a more difficult condition on top of thinking of the person.

Can't see the Death Note being a workable ability without much stricter conditions.

Hourglass ability seems like it would be materialization as well. The conditions seem good for it too.

The astral copy is a fun, good spying ability, but would it store information or would you see through its eyes? If the second, what effect would that have on the user?

Vampire Blade is a great idea, might need a bit stronger of a condition than "hit the target." Also, would the sword cut or just drain?

I like the Dematerialize ability. It would work in a similar way to Knov's ability to use the "nen void" As you develop the ability you could store more and more things. However, when materializing things, would you just need to think of the item, would you have to search in your head, could you materialize more than one thing at a time? When you say lift the item, is it lift with your left hand or your whole body? Overall it's really cool and very practical (I'm guessing when you say water you mean in a jar), just need to work out a few more details.

Thanks for your opinion.

I mean lifting with the left arm, it is a restriction for not being able to transfert a car or a plane or something really big, althought if you bodybuild you could transfert more.
Yeah, i think it's okay if you just think of the item, or maybe having a book or a data list, and no limit of items required, because it is no pure materialisation, basically it is just transfer. For the water, of course i mean in a bottle or something.

Changing subject, basically, Hatsu can combine several Nen types. Plus i dont think that a Hatsu which use a little materialisation but which main ability is something else would count as materialisation.
For Tracking feather for instance, the materialisation is really easy, just a small feather, but the emission type must be strong in order for it to go far away.

Same for the hourglass, the materialisation is just the little part, the main part is Nen reinforcement, same for rainbow thing, it is aura reinforcement.

For the astral copy, the user would just fall asleep, it's a spying ability as you said.

For the rest, i dont think extremely high restrictions are always necessaries, for instance Tracking feather would not be an excessively powerfull ability, i am sure there are tons of hunters with thoose kind of capacity without much restriction.

The Death note or copying aility are the kind of Hatsu wich require heavies restrictions.

I think a simple ability with not much restriction is fresh and cool!

I like your abilities Rak! Here's my feedback for what its worth:

Big Brush: very cool, like Gama, right?

Rainbow Crescent: I like this one. And it's not like it's easy to get angry on purpose. Plus, the fact that as you get more angry, you'd lose focus, means there's another drawback which helps justify the strength of the ability.

Nen Backer: I think this is a really cool ability. Not one I'd one myself lol, but cool nontheless. As Hunter2323 says though, there may be ways to abuse it, so some stronger conditions might be necessary. Like you can only use any ability for hour max., or something like that?

Tracking Feather: If there's a restriction like 'You have to place the feather on the target', then this is fine; Knuckle can track someone using Hakoware as a secondary ability.

Death Note: Waaaaay too strong. The conditions aren't harsh enough in my opinion.

Hourglass: Yeah, I like this one too. It means you have to escape/win the fight in three minutes.

Astral Projection: Also all cool.

Vampire Blade: I think there'd have to more of a drawback to this weapon since its ability is such a useful one. Like it can drain but it can't actually cut maybe? Also, can you use the drained nen yourself?

Dematerialise: Maybe my favourite of all! A very useful ability for someone going out on expeditions. Question: can they dematerialise nen/objects made of nen?

Also, like you say, hatsu can combine two or more different types, and with your explanations the types you've described make sense, but you can include secondary types in your description so as to avoid confusion.
