Discussion Zoro and the Swords

Ok, just read chapter 912 - Amigasa Village which involves new information about one of the 21 Great Grade swords. Luffy ”borrowed” a cursed blade and ran away to randomly bump into Zoro, who is chased for having a Wano national treasure.

I hope that all this information with the swordssmith(relative to a famous smithfamily) and Luffy taking the cursed blade will somehow end up with Zoro having a new blade after the Wano Arc.
If Luffy is getting new attacks and plots, then Zoro is worth a new sword, especially from a land of swordsmen.

What do we think?
Will Zoro get a new sword or is this just a hint for something else?

Zoro has as of now two of the 21 great grade swords, and the Sansai Kitetsu (third in the kitetsu series). Seeing as the Nidai Kitetsu (second kitetsu) is also one of the 21 great grade swords, and is now in Luffy's possession, Zoro is probably going to end up replacing the Sandai Kitetsu with it, since it's essentially a better version of the same thing, and fits in the same grade as his other swords.

Somehow i think that cursed sword is definetely not gonna be replaced, it has a feeling of fate. The sword kind of a chose zoro and is now drawing its other half. I think the samurai national treadsure fits the best because it was robbed from wano in the first place. Maybe even given as a change to that tengu.

Or they could all just realize that Shisui could be in no better hands and acknowledge Zoro?

Suppose the 3 cursed swords are able to be combined in some way... It would be interesting to see if Zoro cured sword becomes stronger.

Regarding the swords, it makes sense to think oda is going for zoro replacing one of the blades he has. The question is, which one.

The first option would be to replace sandai with nidai. He basically trades up and all 3 of his swords would be of the 21 great sword classification.

The second option would be to give up shusui. Maybe return it to its grave or something. I am not sure if the way things played out between ryuma and zoro would suggests zoro would care to do this. He did earn the sword in a way. And in this case zoro gets to hang around with two curse swords made by kitetsu which is also cool.

Of course, the only thing that isn't an option is losing wado ichimonji.

Zoro will probably start collecting Tokeketsu or whatever swords and build a fleet of swords... like Luffy and his fleet.

What ”attributes” does a cursed blade give? Would be epic if he got stronger with another cursed blade during fights and not just by lifting weights

Zoro was entrusted with shusui so he is not giving it up.
I think Zoro will just have a collection of meito and depending on how he feels he will choose which ones he takes when landing on an island, its not like its set in stone for him to always have just 3 blades.

Look I know Oda is a genius and all but there is no twist and turns about Zoro getting new Sword(s) or at least some kind of upgrade. Like there is no way that he wouldn't. Who knows, maybe someone will put an earing around two of his swords and turn it into swordgeta lol.

Haha, Oda is a genius but the point is are Zoro going to get a side story in Wano with a new sword?

We just saw Luffy and Zoro meeting up with Otama sick on his back, so if the sensei is going to thank Zoro in the end of this saga for saving her Life and country it should be something a swordsmith could offer
