I'm going to say yes, but only because Ryuuma killed a dragon with Shusui, so it makes sense it is "possible". Can he do it right now, at this moment? No. But maybe.
See, I get the feeling we are in for two separate engagements, always have, in fact. Since start of Wano I believed we were in for a failed attempt at Kaido. And even the latest chapter supports the notion that they have new recruits to the cause who have not been freed up to join them. Zoro will likely succeed in taming Enma and possibly cut Kaido in this battle, but in the end it won't be enough.
He will respectfully request Shusui so he can fight properly, since he feels it's his blade, personally or something. Don't know. But it feels like the goal for taking it from him is the same for not freeing the samurai and other mine/factory prisoner slaves: Oda's setting up future fire/man power for the second attempt at Kaido's head.
This suspicion of Oda's intentions is what sways my opinion here. So far, Enma looks VASTLY superior to Shusui. But I just feel like there's some kind of plot-trope being invoked. Enma is probably being intended as a training mechanism. Could it be superior to Shusui? Sure, may end up that way. But that's why I mention the plot structure as my reasoning. We will see. I personally take Enma as an increased gravity training for Zoro. He will become more powerful with Enma, and then maybe Shusui will do something or awaken Bankai.
Still rooting for Wado Ichimonji to be the source of the Ashura. That, or Zoro has Ashuragan and just doesn't want to show off yet. Maybe Enma or Shusui will bring us more info on that? Or perhaps they (Enma and its twin) were mastered by Oden because he too had an Asura form? It's too cool a design for Oda to forget, obviously.
@Lexusflame , which is the correct spelling? Shusui or Shunsui? I always thought it was the former?
