You are kinda becoming for Luffy what Moe is for Sanji and Nik for Zoro. Thats troubling.

I go for it is a requirement. He has the ambition to conquer the SSW Seat from Mihawk. Also i think he already has CoC, just didnt needed to use it yet.

And be honest if someone slashes a sky in a clash with weapons in the ShCrew... its gotta be Zork.

Luffy and ruling goes together like the Coward trio and danger or oil and water or Captain America and evil or conservatives and nonwhites or Snape and shampoo or kkck and being short and succinct.

Wonder if Zoro's killing intent/bloodthirst is his CoC or one form of it. He's managed to scare the shit out of opponents or made them feel nervous with how scary he could be.

Honestly, I don't find it interesting to figure out whether it is a requirement for Zoro to have CoC to become WSS since it was already explained that Zoro considers making Luffy the pirate king to be a greater ambition than becoming WSS himself. Look at the scenes of Zoro vs Kuma and Zoro asking Mihawk to train him for reference on that.

Zoro will very probably have CoC. He's just that kind of character. He is the pirate king's first mate.

Anyone noticed in the last chapter that rayleight has quite similar clothes with post time skip zoro.....with the dark color and clothes tied in the belt?

Rayleigh also has one sword, which forshadows Zoro ditching all his swords to stick with one in Enma.

In the panel their in, at the top, he is looking the opposite direction to everyone else and then quickly looks at the right direction, which is similar to Zoro sense of direction.

He also has a scar.

Rayleigh = Zoro EOS confirmed.

Edit: Just noticed that Rayleigh rests his sword on the shoulder like Zoro does. If that doesn't confirm everything, i dont know what will.

I wonder if Mihawk will get tied up in this flashback at some point...
He should be around 17 years old at current point in the flashback so he should soon start going around challenging swordsmen like Oden, Rayleigh and Roger.

And

Zoro = Shanks

Then it's only natural.

Buggy made Mihawk look like the clown at Marineford where as Shanks (Super Hakiman) made Mihawk a clown his whole life by being a Yonko whereas Mihawk is a mere WSS

I was comparing their looks. I tried to fit in Buggy but there aren't any characters from the current generation similar to his old look.

As for Zoro having CoC, it is not needed but like LexusFlame says, it would be nice to see a bunch of people on the SH crew have CoC so it makes it look like Luffy is a real emperor, one that rules other kings. I mean CoC does nothing to people with strong wills. It makes their fights look extra cool. But really, wtf does it even do? It doesn't let you hit Logias like CoA. Seriously, the other 2 forms of Haki right now does so much more than CoC. With that understanding, Zoro will not need CoC. If he gets it later on, I'm fine with it but he certainly do not need it. In fact everyone who has it right now doesn't need it not until it is shown to be more useful anyways.

And since swordmanship require muscle strength in One Piece, Mihawk could win a lot of fights with his fists alone

Jeah no. Its not like he cant get cut. He gets cut everytime! His power isnt to be immun to swords or cuts... its to reassemble himself. Even if you cut him with haki, as soon he is free of the haki...his powers are back and he is back again.

Here is something I've been wondering about: do we want Zoro's lineage, if it is of particular note, to have any impact on his character? I definitely want the mystery solved, don't get me wrong, but do we want it to have a defining effect on his personality or any other aspects of his character?

Buggy is as much the world's greatest swordsman as Mihawk. He uses knives to fight. He defeated Zoro, and stalemated Mihawk, and he was also Shanks's rival at one point

And it's not like Luffy can't be punched, it's just that he's made of rubber. Yet Haki works on him...

We aren't given a deep explanation of how Haki works, it's just that it can be used to fight Devil Fruit users, and it can hurt their "real bodies".

If you want an actual explanation, Buggy can't heal damage done to his cells, be it punches or cuts. When he disassembles, he would be creating a "portal" like Blueno or Law. (This is just a way to explain a magical ability, the real answer is that it's magic)
