other than haki, can you tell me what Mihawk taught Zoro?
Swordsmanship, tf?other than haki, can you tell me what Mihawk taught Zoro?
Yea I can see what you're saying, and there's credibility in exploring it. At least compared to PK, the WSS is a one-horse race. I suppose, Oda could have weaved in other swordsmen to compete with him - but I'm pretty satisfied for Zoro to beat strong opponents as someone who has to fight the second strongest person (usually) that the SH face. The problem is that we haven't seen Zoro get a good fight this side of the timeskip. But seeing as he is the only one racing, it doesn't matter overall.
In the end, my point is moot unless another person tries to get the title of WSS from Mihawk... which there hasnt
I agree completely and thank you for even considering what I say. Even of you may have a difference of opinion.Yea I can see what you're saying, and there's credibility in exploring it. oh I wasn't aware Zoro wasn't a swordsman who knew how to fight with swords until he trained with Mihawk, my bad.Swordsmanship, tf?
I guess Zoro picked Mihawk to train him for the hell of it right? Him being the WSS had nothing to do with it?oh I wasn't aware Zoro wasn't a swordsman who knew how to fight with swords until he trained with Mihawk, my bad.
Sanji wanted to make his crew stronger through food. He cant do that without recipes from Ivankov's kingdom. No Sanji's dream is all blue, not to be the greatest chef.
And you yourself said PK isnt about strength and now your saying it is??? Lol
Bad trolling.
It's not the same.
We are talking about their dreams.... that YOU brought up.Sanji wanted to make his crew stronger through food. He cant do that without recipes from Ivankov's kingdom.
You said he was an unparalleled chef. Seems like without the recipes he can be unparalleled all he wants but such cooking wasnt in his repertoire.
PK title doesnt represent strength indeed, especially not the strongest. Fact is he was too weak for the New World and without Rayleigh's training he would still be struggling with far inferior opponents. It is the same shortcut that Zoro received. They both got stronger. Not even sure what your point was with that...
How comes? Are you saying Rayleigh's training isnt a shortcut or you are willing to revert Luffy to pre-TS training lvl and put him against ppl in NW to see how well he does without the shortcut, lol?Only 1 got a shortcut of the monster Trio and it was Zoro.

My argument has always been that it doesnt indicates the strongest character. As we have seen from Roger, he became PK without his strength playing a role.
My argument isnt destroyed. PK title doesnt represent strongest, nor strength. It represents Roger who walked into Raftel with fighting nobody for the RP nor anyone standing in his way.
My credibility is just fine. You tried to take a jab at Zoro but didn't count on it being a double-edged sword and affecting Sanjino and Luffione as well.
The fact is that Luffy can be PK without fighting anyone, just like Rogerboi did it. It's a different matter that he wants to fight Emperors and thus Rayleigh's training giving him an unfair advantage over others... Your argument works both ways so pick a street.![]()

Nobody wants to be the WSS and you think that is a jab at you lol. Empty title that no one cares about vs Pirate King.
If you that a jab at you, hit up Oda and have him change things up.

No, no, you got it wrong again. Nothing about me.Nobody wants to be the WSS and you think that is a jab at you lol. Empty title that no one cares about vs Pirate King.

Your point is that Zoro's training is a shortcut to his goal while at same time claiming that Luffy's training isnt a shortcut to his goal.![]()

I will one-up your false claims - Zoro's training isn't a shortcut while Luffy's is. Ha! Beat that.Which is a fact.
Zoro is running a 1 man race and still needed a shortcut to the finish line

Zoro quite literally went to Mihawk and asked him to train him in swordsmanship. That was literally a panel in the manga. Zoro knows swordsmanship, but that doesn't mean he can't learn anything else about it, especially from someone who is known as the WSS.other than haki, can you tell me what Mihawk taught Zoro?
Technically, Zoro probably wouldn't have picked Mihawk if Kuma didn't send him to Mihawk's home.I guess Zoro picked Mihawk to train him for the hell of it right? Him being the WSS had nothing to do with it?
Clown shit, buddy.
You know damn well Zoro's swordsmanship improved after training with Mihawk
What did he learn though? how to dodge? New moves? What?Zoro quite literally went to Mihawk and asked him to train him in swordsmanship. That was literally a panel in the manga. Like with the majority of the Strawhats, we haven't seen what they went through over those 2 years, so who knows. It could be some intricacies in the way of the sword that Zoro was unaware of. Could've pointed out some flaws in his techniques to allow him to strengthen them. There's a number of potential things. Why would he not learn anything about swordsmanship while hanging out with Mihawk? That wouldn't really make sense. What did he learn though? how to dodge? New moves? What?
Because he's a great swordsman with his own style? At best, Mihawk could teach him one-sword style swordsmanship just in case. Hell, with Rayleigh Luffy only learned haki and did the rest on his own, so who's not to say the same happened to Zoro?Like with the majority of the Strawhats, we haven't seen what they went through over those 2 years, so who knows. Oda wrote it so Zoro approached Mihawk to teach him about swordsmanship and Mihawk accepted him as his student. 2 in story years later, Zoro returned stronger with improved techniques. I don't think it needs to be directly pointed out that Zoro learned better sword techniques from the guy that's known as the World's Strongest Swordsman in the series.
