Yeah, cause he's spacing around and getting flashbacks. He blocked king's attack the previous chapter, after which he showed no signs of damage from it.
He can fight if he wants to, but chooses not to, literally siting the reason that it's because he wants the strawhats to take the spotlight

Marco > King so the events of the most recent chapter i.e. Zoro finally defeating King ('regular' YC1-level) extreme diff doesn't really have any bearing on Zoro vs. Marco beyond Zoro now simply giving Marco more difficulty at most.

Zoro needed AdCoC and Enma buffs to meaningfully damage King, while exhausted Marco's knee strike made defense mode King bleed.

That's quite an impressive feat looking back considering some people were hyping King's durability as >=Kaido's (dragon form at least) and disparaging Marco's AP

I'm still yet to see how Zoro can meaningfully deal with Marco's regeneration while Marco, apart from his regen, retroactively has great AP as evidenced by him making defense mode King bleed with a casual knee and earlier in the fight he has a smaller but noteworthy feat in making Queen cough up blood from his Pheonix Brand attack.

I'm sure when Zoro finally masters Enma he would surpass Marco tho but as of now it's still Marco high/extreme diff imo.

Still going for Marco, today the fight will be hard, but Marco is a powerhouse of his own.
Big Mom had lot of respect for him that resume all, in a world where Pirates only admire strength.

She even assume the possibility that Marco could be able to kill her... That's not a small talk...

For me Marco is stronger than current Rayleigh, really near the level of admirals.
And at the moment I don't see Zoro beating Kuzan or Kizaru.

Zoro can only use advanced conqueror's for limited time, and Marco excels in stalling.

Marco was faster than King, and Zoro had trouble keeping up against King's speed. It will be tough for Zoro to get hits on Marco
Marco has Zoro beat in every stat except damage output. And Marco isn't low in attack power by any means, he made King bleed with his attacks

Marco would still give him a high diff tho, one of the few pirates close to admirals

Well saying his sword is going to kill him from haki drain if the fight goes on much longer is a pretty good indicator. Are we forgetting that he was getting ragdolled through the Live Floor until he unlocked AdCoC?

Nah, it was a high-extreme diff win for Zoro

King still has Zoro beat in every stat except attack power.
King dealt a lot of damage on Zoro prior to the last chapter as well.

The fight could've lasted longer if Oda didn't rush it.
Like, if both the character didn't go for their finishing moves at the end of the chapters, they could've continued fighting for much longer.
