Summary and Preview

In this world, magic users are born with a stone clutched in their hand. The stone is like poison to the young magic user, because it is formed from the darkness within them. It must be protected by someone, since the stone has a connection the magic user's health and life. The agreement between the magic user and the protector is supposed to be the most important and strongest tie in the world.

But Celeste, a young magic user at the Elfinwood school of magic, would do anything to be free of her partner. Her partner is her stepsister Christine, who despises Celeste and misses no opportunity to torment her or treat her as a slave. Will Celeste be able to become a powerful magic user despite her horrible bond to Chris?
