Summary and Preview
This manga seems to be a spin-off prequel of the manga "Himitsu," which is about solving murder cases by using new technology that allows the viewing of memories in dead people's brains. This story occurs years earlier, in 2045, when the technology was just being developed. Ten years earlier, Maki Tsuyoshi's parents died in a fire. Following the fire, he has lived with his legal guardian, Sawamura Satoshi, whose face was burned off saving Tsuyoshi from the flames. Tsuyoshi is certain that his parents were murdered, but he has few clues to help him find their killers. They met with people that evening, but he can't remember their faces, only a certain symbol. That symbol is associated with a powerful secret society at Tokyo University, known as "Premium." Tsuyoshi enters Tokyo University, but he isn't invited to join the society, despite his top credentials. Instead, they invite the more social runner-up Suzuki Katsuhiro to join their ranks. Tsuyoshi approaches Katsuhiro in an attempt to get him to help check out the organization, and the two of them try to uncover what happened on that night so many years ago. [tethysdust]
