Summary and Preview
Rose was raised on an island with her grandfather, who sells maps. When she was young, he told her that he had actually adopted her, and that she was really a princess. He said that someday, someone was going to come and fetch her back to her life of royalty. To prepare her for this, he taught her extensively about geography, languages, and self-defense. The other people on the island didn't believe her story, and thought that Rose was just an orphan whose parents were killed by pirates.
But one fateful day, someone finally came for her. She learns that she actually is a princess, but a different sort than she imagined. Her father is the notorious and elusive Pirate King, Captain Phantom! She's going to need all the skills and knowledge she's learned from her 'grandfather', now that she is taking her place as a pirate princess! [tethysdust]
