Summary and Preview
In a world of super powers and hyper-technology, there is a constant threat of supernatural terrorism. In between these terrorists and the common citizen stands a group of heroes called MI:X! Jason, the chief of the MI:X team, has the ability to generate shields.
One fateful day, the team goes on a mission where they encounter a strange and deadly new weapon. This new "weapon" slaughters them all except Jason, who is left with damage that will eventually kill him. But he soon discovers that the murderer of his team is nothing but a little girl, who has the power to use the abilities of people around her. Rather than kill her, the organization Jason belongs to decides to take her into custody under the code name of "Trigger". Jason is torn between his desire for revenge and his loyalty to the organization which has ordered him to care for "Trigger." His tiny, growing shreds of sympathy for the imprisoned child, has given her the more humane name of "Lily". But what is she, really, and where did she come from? [tethysdust]
