Summary and Preview
A cute one-shot about kemari, a form of football played by courtiers in ancient Japan!
One night after work, a shirabyoushi (a female dancer who performs traditional Japanese dances dressed as a man) named Gyokuou meets Genku, the most prominent kemari player of the commoner class. They become close as Genku teaches Gyokuou the joy of playing kemari. However in the upcoming kemari match, Genku must face Fujiwara no Narimichi, an elegant noble of the same caliber, in kemari. A rumor among the nobles claims that if Narimichi wins, then the commoners will be forbidden from playing kemari ever again. Just what will be the result of the match? [emirii]
