Summary and Preview

It has been 12 years since Kiomaru has learned under his master and adopted father, Gatsusan Sadamitsu, about the art of the bladesmith. Living poorly in the snowy mountains, Kiomaru had spent everyday observing and practicing the process of making a quality katana. Although he lacks decades of experience, Sadamitsu sees much greater potential in Kiomaru than himself and tells him the truth about Kiomaru’s past. All swords eventually wear down and break due to the limitations of the metals available on this planet, but if a katana were to be forged from a meteor, its potential is limitless.
