Summary and Preview
One day, Haru and his little brother Yoki come home to find that their mother has vanished, leaving them alone with their horribly abusive father. Now Haru and Yoki must make their way through a daily life characterized by pain, fear, and hunger. Haru tries his best to protect his little brother from the worst of the abuse, but he is all too aware of how little power he has.
