Summary and Preview
One sad day, Aiko finds herself working at the funeral of a boy she once liked. His wife preceded him in death, and he left behind a little boy. That little boy moves into the care of his older brother, an unkempt man that seems less than thrilled with the prospect of caring for a child. Aiko is concerned for the well-being of the kid so she inserts herself into the situation.
It turns out that the child's new guardian, Karibe Kiyomi, is actually a popular mangaka. Few know this, however, because he writes his long-running shoujo manga under the pen name of "Karibe Mariko." In order to make sure the child is okay, Aiko agrees to an unusual deal with Kiyomi and his manager. She'll let them arrange her love life, in order to research situations for Kiyomi's manga.
