Summary and Preview
Every male who encounters Tomie becomes obsessed with her and eventually kills and dismembers her. But Tomie is not human, and is always reborn.. and killed again. The first few episodes of Tomie are quite interesting, but they get less and less so. Apparently the story is inspired by one of Junji Ito's classmates being killed in an accident when he was in Junior High School and at the time it felt to him like it would not be so strange if she showed up at school the next day.
