If only when the new series come, they could be an amazing new sports series and an awesome new mystery series.

That would be my dream....but I have learned better. But I will continue to hope!!

Mystery, sports, and Jump don't seem to mix anymore. Not that Jump ever really had much of a mystery tradition.

Yeah that's why I've been leaning more towards Magazine these days. But hey, that's what dreams are for...lol Because a good Jump mystery would just be so cool

It's not that Jump doesn't try new things or go back to things that work at other magazines likes sports or mysteries or dramas...but my guess is the fanbase of Jump series really aren't mature enough to vote for them. (or they just don't make anything good that the more mature readers can fall behind...and even if they did, they still have to face all those crazy kids who love those battle and gag series that Jump is known for)

Also, sports series bring Jump and Shonen Magazine into direct competition, a situation neither magazine wants. Jump is the action oriented young teen anthology, Magazine more adult and sports driven. They've done very well establishing there own niches this decade, I doubt either wants to rock the boat much.

for the sport manga serialised in akamaru jump , we have two :

1)NO アイムチ - Ai no muchi by the mangaka Haneda Toyotaka it's about equitation, and a boy dream to be a jockey for see one page from this manga click her

2) Gut by the mangaka Muko Kouichi , it's about badminton for see one page click her

it's will be nice if they get serialised in WSJ

The one with the horse look much more interesting than the badminton one.

Plus I have never read a manga about anything like that so it would be fun

Wow, Bakuman gets it's cover taken away again. >.> I know Naruto is having it's 10th anniversary; and it is just another reason to celebrate, I feel like Bakuman should get the cover this time.
I mean, it's their first anniversary. C'mon.

Murmurs about ToLoveRu ending are getting louder now...

Currently the number of chapters is just enough for Vol. 18, the final volume that'd be released along with the OVADVD. Many are saying that, couple with what was written in Himajin's TLR spoiler, it could be ending in 8~10 chapters, just enough for Vol.19.

Take it with a bucket of salt though

Still, an interesting thought. 8 - 10 chapters would be early November, no? Worth keeping in the back of my mind, not that I will let it give me false hope that my favorite series will be saved. Not that any of my favorites are in danger of cancellation
