i think he meant the "very deep, orgasmic mindblowing" part.

I always find, if you're ever in doubt, look for a sexual reference.

I'll give you the lowdown then. :D

Real- Very moving, great characters, wonderful story since it's by (hello) Takehiko Inoue of great renown. Downside is: i think it's on hiatus, since it's by (hello) Takehiko Inoue. But I like it (aside from the reasons above) for its original story that sheds light and perspective on the life of the physically disabled. The human struggle to achieve despite limitations.

Vagabond- great manga, very deep, orgasmic mindblowing art because it's by again, Takehiko Inoue. Plus, it's close to completion. If you're into the zen shit of the art of the sword, this is the manga for you. At the same time you'll experience wanting to watch videos and do research on katanas, Miyamoto musashi, and martial arts in general :cookiehand

20th Century Boys- Completed- so you can read this at your own pace- and when you do, i think you won't be able to drop it. hahaha. Involves a lot of characters since it's a story of epic proportions- that spans through many generations and decades of events. But it's really epic, inspiring, gripping, intriguing. Unique art by Naoki Urasawa.

Sket Dance- dropped it after one volume hahahaha. so i can't say much about it.

Monster- Also by Naoki Urasawa, I watched the anime before touching the manga- totally loved it. Signature Mindfuck by the mangaka, i would think. Creepy, Dark, crazy. But since I watched the anime, and the anime did a pretty good job of adapting the story i think (pure canon), i didn't think i needed to read the manga (which i did, like, one volume).

One Piece- EPIC. I also had inhibitions reading this manga, first, because of the massive amounts of chapters I had to catch up to (that time, about 400 chapters), and because I had a prejudice about Eiichiro Oda's art. Which, really, is hard to appreciate by the early volumes. But right from the beginning I loved his sense of humor, his genius in story-telling, and even the paneling was amazing. When his art grows on you though, the spreads become so gorgeous and kickass. Speaking of kickass, he has captured the purest shonen hero that is Luffy (that I can only compare to Goku)- the manga is so full of awesome. great ensemble of characters too.

Bakuman- light, short, complete, and unique. oh, and totally unpredictable- lots of surprises that make this a very fun read. Read this if you want to get something done off the list immediately, hehe.
Thank you :thumbs

I decided to finish/read Bakuman and Real at the moment.

yes! It's a super enjoyable read. I like Takehiko Inoue's sense of humor, and it rarely shows in Vagabond (since it's a super serious manga). But you can see with Slam Dunk how he loves humor, and making fun of his characters (in Vagabond, he pokes fun at Musashi and the old fogeys). Despite the light-heartedness of REAL, when it comes to the characters' situations and overcoming their battles, wow he wrings your heart out like you can really live their lives you know?

i was being prick.

last night i received an outage report (which i had this gut feel that we should log a severity report for our clients and stakeholders) so i told my shift mate (he has seniority, pero sa pagka bugo man sad, so i had to consult him) about it, but he said its just an update to an existing case. being the senior, i took his word for it.

at least 30 minutes later, another outage report came in from a different client site. again, i told him about it, but again, he insisted that its just an update and that there's nothing to worry about.

an hour has passed and a couple of inquiry emails came in asking for updates of those outages. he then told me to call our manager for advise, which i did.

to my surprise, ako pa ang napagalitan ng bonggang-bongga ng manager for not informing him about the outage reports. i told him that i just followed the escalation matrix. since both are jordanians (the arab world hates their kind), ako pa ngayon ang lumalabas na incompetent and not doing my job. being told off negatively, all that, just because i chose to respect my shift mate's seniority, got me really pissed off.

after the call, my shift mate approached me, asking what our manager advised me.

i don't know what happened, basta nlang ako nag bitch mode (because i can't physically degrade him, even if i badly want to), and told him "fuck off, man. go fuck yourself." and then i walked away, wanting to get some fresh air outside. i felt like i had a little bit more left in me to vent, so walked back to him and said "or you know what? just fucking kill yourself. i would totally appreciated that." and then i walked out the office, stayed outside for good 30 minutes.

shit. i was a prick.

re: financial report
- i thought i had something to say about this topic. but then i realized, i don't. i'm more of a financial "coordinator". i "coordinate" my earnings back home. so sad.

She said it's really not my habit
To intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning
Won't be lost or misconstrued
But I'll repeat myself
At the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways
To leave your lover
Fifty ways to leave your lover

She said it grieves me so
To see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do
To make you smile again
I said I appreciate that
And would you please explain
About the fifty ways

She said why don't we both
Just sleep on it tonight
And I believe in the morning
You'll begin to see the light
And then she kissed me
And I realized she probably was right
There must be fifty ways
To leave your lover
Fifty ways to leave your lover

Yeah. Haha.
And his characters are really great.
Their not intelligent. Their not invincible.
But they are great in their on way.
Honest, and funny are enough traits of Inoue Takehiko's characters

i have this great respect and admiration towards arabs, Imp.

it's the fucking Jordanians. and i'm not making this up: apparently, the rest of the arab communities hate them. unanimously.

shit happens, MD. is all I can really say.
then i'm constipated in this particular situation.

no. she's now somebody that i used to know. /stillindenial
there's really not much we can tell you to do but to move on.

eventually, she'll see you succeed in life.

and that's gonna be a kick to her gut, for passing over you.

she had her chance.

disregarding the fact that i treat most of my life experiences as a joke, i don't really care what she thinks of me now, or then.

---------- Post added at 11:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:31 PM ----------

.... and fate comes by and decides to fuck with me. she suddenly chatted me, i tried to be as cordial as possible without alerting her to the fact i'm still fuming over the last time, told me i can ask her anything, so i asked her how shariah law is treating her because she's in malaysia, to which she replied "yo don't know me".

wtf. seriously? after everything you've told me about your life, you tell me that?

anyway, she's right, i don't really "know" her (wink, wink) and frankly, i no longer give a damn about her.
