WOK are my favorite, I'm not a fan of Kirihara sorry. I still don't know who would win BA Sanada or Yukimura.
Yukimura, I think. Given enough time Yuki can return BA. Also, Sanada has nothing other than BA to score against Yuki.

I don't think we'll see Yukimura play again. Konomi Sensei is pushing him out of story. Ah I would hate to see Yuki leave.

I guess so too. Yukimura is going to be another Tezuka. Maybe by pushing Yuki away they can give Sengoku a push? I would love to see Tokugawa forfeit, then Sengoku plays Byoudin instead. Then Sengoku become the number one player.

Sengoku????? lol

Tokugawa will probably forfeit. With his stats he has no chance against Byoudouin. Considering the stats even some Msers will also defeat Tokugawa. How the hell he'll defeat Byoudouin????

lmao you're awesome man. This seriously made me laugh lmao.
Keep up your optimism man. The world needs people with this kind of thinking.

Precisely.
But he has 10ball so in theory, regardless of Tezuka who has TnK, he can't be beaten, although I don't think its as simple as that.

I think just like Irie, his initial stats aren't an accurate reflection of his ability.
He doesn't exceed 5 in any stat which means he simply can't be G10 level in Singles without bring 10ball out so I imagine he's hiding something for Byoudouin.

It would be brilliant if it happened.

And I think that Tokugawa is definitely hiding some extreme power, but I still think he is going to have to forfeit. We have never seen him play in a real match. I think the writers are going to establish him as super powerful somehow then Byoudin is going to bounce back and defeat him, injuring him. Then one of the Msers (most likely/definitely Ryoma) will come and play against Byoudin and win.

I hope Jirou Challenges Byoudouin after Tokugawa forfeits.

I expect things to go this way: Byoudouin unsatisfied after Tokugawa forfeits. Looks to beat up several Msers. Jirou goes to play him. Jirou gets a lucky point via twisted wrist. Byoudoin dies of anger. Jirou becomes number one. Wakes up from sleep.

Hahah that would be a good scenario.

Maybe Kadowaki challenges Byoudin after Tokugawa forfeits. It turns out his new super tennis style is stronger than the glowing shot and Byoudin is forced to forfeit.

It's getting less and less funny as it's being repeated, but Kadowaki comment is rather awesome.

I'm only cheering for Horio as #0, anyhow.

Yuki's moves either put opponents to sleep, or leave them standing there not able to play, not very fun to watch, but so far Black Aura and Pinnacle of Perfection are upgrades that can score points on him

If Tokugawa isn't hiding something, then he has been built up for nothing, so far he has been shown to be seen as the number one second stringer, so he's got to have something up his sleeve, and since his character profile said he now has a rivalry with Ryoga because he likes Ryoma as a little brother, he might end up playing Ryoga instead while Ryoma trains more with that SSS thing Ryoga showed him

Tokugawa, Tanegashima, Oni, and Irie were shown to be pretty much the strongest in the camp in the beginning of the manga, Oni turned out to really be number 5 and formerly number 1, Tanegashima is number 2, Irie is stronger than his stats show and is most likely G10 level even though now he is only number 20, so Tokugawa's got to have something hidden or he's wearing the heaviest power ankles and wrists ever

Everybody forgets it was the Kanto Regional Select Team VS West Coast USA.
No way would he make an All-Japan team.
And that's all anime lol. Sengoku is a forgotten bro.

@Eiji Kikumaru, I totally agree that Yushi is Hyotei's No.2

I believe that Kabaji can't be ranked.
And that its Atobe, Yushi, Jirou, Kabaji, Hiyoshi, Shishido, Ootori, Mukahi then Taki. You may not remember Taki.

Kabaji goes anywhere and everywhere in the list coz of his Super Copy.
In New Prince of Tennis Pair Puri Volume 7, the author Konomi says that Akutagawa Jirou is Hyoutei's 2nd strongest player, so since Jirou is the best after Atobe, if he never becomes relevent again, no one else from Hyouti will either, unless we need some fodder to lose matches like the 2nd stringers who lost to 12-19, and Kabaji would lose to Atobe because he doesn't have the stamina for an endurance battle, and it was already stated he can't copy Jirou's magic volley, so he's where he should be

It's definitely fair to say his matches are somewhat boring, but we don't know to what extents the new yips works. It really makes it hard to determine whether he is better than Sanada or not.

Since the BA broke the original Yips, would it also break the new yips? Yukimura could get used to the BA or it could be too strong for even him.

Furthermore, could Yukimura trick Sanada into thinking the BA is working and then just win the match like he did against mirror eyes?

We talked about the Jirou thing for a while and it just seems like Yuushi is all around better. Also if we look at the fact that people improve over the camp, Yuushi's stats are better than Jirou's. Yuushi's attacks are also very good at stopping people from reaching the net.

While it's true that we don't know the full extent of his new yips techniques, we also don't know the full extent of black aura, we know that it can change the path of a ball, but we don't know if it can do anything else, it could have more abilities, and it could be like PoP where it automatically breaks yips

Sanada could also trick Yukimura into thinking the yips is working, then all of a sudden surprise him with some black aura shots like in their elimination match

Yuushi's stats are better than jirou's by 1, not really enough to say he would definitely beat him, most all of the black jersey's who played 12-19 had stats lower by more than that, and they managed to win, and most likely they have both improved at the camp by roughly the same amount since they have both had the same training.

The only category he beats jirou in is mental, but jirou isn't the type to really have problems in that area, the stronger his opponents are the more excited he gets. Also, jirou was the 2nd best at hyoutei when he spent all his time napping and yuushi actually trained, now that jirou is actually training, who knows how a match between them would go

Exactly so you cannot state who is better between Yukimura and Sanada which is why I don't want Yukimura to leave just yet.

To Yuushi I apologize for the stats thing, I just remembered Yuushi being 6 people up from Jirou (didn't realize that all of those 6 people had the same stats.). If he had really been training that much then it would show in his stats. Jirou is someone who is fantastic at volleying, but Yuushi is great at being impossible to read. He aims for the corners with SSAS and he can hold Jirou at the baseline where Jirou is essentially useless (as compared to him at the net). Closed mind technique also makes it very hard for Jirou to read where the ball is being hit thus he won't know where the volley is coming from.

Sanada doesn't trick anyone. He'll take Yuki head on.

While I agree that he doesn't trick anyone, he doesn't have to take Yukimura head on anymore. He doesn't do so in National in his match with Tezuka. If someone tell him some idea+enough is on the line, Sanada's is perfectly fine abandoning the Emperor title.

I don't think Sanada needed to be told that he could use Rin to stop losing points against TPhantom, he just didn't want to abandon the head-on challenge.

I never said who was better, I just said that black aura can score points on him, and we don't know for sure the full powers of black aura, and the only reason I wouldn't be mad if he left is that his matches get boring if his yips work, and they always work, the one time someone broke out of it completely, yukimura lost

It's true, Yuushi is good at aiming at the corners and holding people at the baseline, and he has the closed mind technique, but none of this is new, he's had all of this since PoT, and konomi still said that jirou was better. Unless Yuushi shows something new, then I doubt he's the better player now
