I don't think that Tsugumi design for the anime is bad if you consider that in the begining of the manga she looked like a man, like, totally a man, only after the chapter in the pool that she became a cute girl. Probably they bring with this design right now because of this, you will see later. :P

Don't she put her ruban when she is feminie (if that word work with Tsugumi) ? I hope you right and her design will change later in the serie but still the fact the she has her ruban scare me a little. I love her voice though.

Also Raku's voice sound really like Ichika Orimura from Infinite Stratos, I Hope they will not make him dense as Ichika in the anime.

I think there are other chapters in the Drama CD, not just one. I will listen to tomorrow, but by what I heard all voices are good.

Yeah, I checked the official website of the anime by chance and names that apart from chapter 40, on CD-drama is also chapter 7, when they make cakes and December 18 seems to launch the single of which could be the opening of the anime, sung by Nao and Kana.

Very nice chapter, see a bit of Onodera's story and how she ended up in the same school as Raku. Really, I couldn't expect something like that from her, really courageous move. However, I didn't understand why Komi Naoshi brought up this subject now... Maybe a arc focused on Onodera will come?

I hate me, just I said happened XD centered Onodera, the cap was not bad, but I feel this should have been long ago and not now, something out of place depending on what happens in the next chapter, but I see more from fanservice for her fans.

I can see that Onodera's popularity here is not quite big. hahahahaha
She tries... very rarely, but she tries.

Unitil now we haven't had a arc focused on Onodera IIRC, only some little arcs without much importance for her development, I want to see more about her and who knows start to like her, too. XD
The chapter ended with her turn back to say "good morning" to Raku, it's possible that the next chapter will continue at the same moment and show something happening with Raku. I really don't know...

This was a sweet chapter. I really do like Onodera--I just don't think her and Ichijou have really had the right opportunities or are too shy to admit their feelings to each other while he's starting to notice other girls. But as friends and possible lovers, her and Ichijou are really cute together, and her trying that hard to get into the same school as him shows her dedication.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I really love that cover page. I love that somewhat watercolor effect to it.

I really like this chapter and it would be kind of nice if the next chapter is Raku's pov, but poor Onodera she almost got confess by Raku if it wasn't for her mom telling her she got accepted. I really hope we get an big Onodera arc soon not the little arc we always get like Leoat12 said.

I got a bit disappointed that we didn't have an arc centered on Onodera, but it's fine, funny chapter in the end. IIRC this is the third chapter with style about Tsugumi and all of them had a bit of development. In the beginning Tsugumi was known because of her strength, but it has fewer importance in this moment. Now she knows that everyone likes her because of herself, not because of her strength or her "mission". She joined the group entirely and I'd like to see this with Paula.

Next week we have chapter 100!

The most hilarious part for me was when Chitoge kicked the wall because Raku lied to her. Maybe at that moment I realized she doesn't need any protection from Tsugumi.

The past chapter, IMO, I remain as a simple fanservice the character gaining in popularity, totally out of place, it would have been better in some past arc centered on it, now that I really liked, really fun with these kinds of situations give Tsugumi increasingly make bloom a little his side feminine.

The funniest part for me was the race with Mari that seemed dead at the end xD
I hope the following is focused on Chitoge, still do not see any of Haru -.-

I agree with Chitoge, it wouldn't be the same without Tsugumi. She has been a good character, she changed a lot, also, her dialogues with Raku are the best.

Yes, I believe Tsugumi is more than a third wheel character to me - regardless the fact that she is less influential compared to the other girls in Raku's harem. The fact that Chitoge admitted that she'd feel lonely is showing how significant she is for her. I believe she's one of the Chitoge first friends too, before Onodera even.

She doesn't have much influence in the harem beceuase Raku doesn't see her that way, it's clear because she is the unique person that he ask for advices about love and other things. He see her as a very nice person and friend, it woud be interesting if Raku get conscious about this like happened with Marika. Her advices are always so serious because she is saying the truth and she believe that she has no chance in this love, she deserves more space in the harem. An arc centered on Tsugumi would be good, we don't know about her story very much.

Of course that Tsugumi is Chitoge's first friend. I think they know each other more time than Onodera.

Chapters like that makes me remember that Chitoge is the best. Her scenes are the best so far.
She is the one who thinks more in her relationship with Raku so far, even Marika doesn't think that much and see her thoughts is very interesting. Confess your love is not easy, even materialize your feelings in a paper is embarassing. XD
Chitoge's father story was funny, but portrayed very well how love is and Raku said very well, too in the end. Take it easy and act naturally, the right time will come.

I think this chapter has a message from Komi Naoshi, too. The series reached its 100th chapter and it's natural to think about its ending, but there is no need to worry about it. Enjoy the series right now and think in the future later on.
It was a really weird interpretation, but sounds true.

He is the typical male lead of a harem although he is the "very and almost annoyingly dense"-type. Apart from that he is a great guy.
Well Raku and Tsugumi look great together too but Chitoge and Raku is the real deal.
