I m not liking true detective that much after 2 episodes. I want to know more and i like both characters but it s a little slow.

Aside from that it was funny to see lili simmons as a guest in episode 2 and that girl sleeping with woody was absolutely stunning

How did you not get hooked onto it especially with Cohle's scene at the end of the first episode? But yes, stick with it like Gary said.

And yes, Alexandra Daddario's character was an inspired casting .

I've actually not seen episode 6 yet, so I'll catch it tomorrow at some point.

It's still the first season, with 6 episodes having aired as of last Sunday. 2 more remaining for the season.

Finally watched Episode 6 a few days ago, I guess some of our assumptions( mine at least) as to why Cohle and Marty fell out was shown to be what we expected.

Also season 2 of Hannibal begins tonight. Will anyone be following it?

Regarding True detective, I'm finally in it but it took time. Now that we are no longer stuck in the past & that we are talking more about what's happening now, I'm more interested. The only character who kept me interested in the show is Cohle. His character is the show.

Lili Simmons is in other episodes.

About lili simmons, I don't know if she will ever play in something without being naked. And her dialogue was even hotter ... That girl is something.

I just started watching the show "black sails," and to be honest, I don't think the show will last too long. Half the actors are really terrible, and the overall story is mediocre at best.

It s horrible but it s not just the actors. The roles are not believable. How are we supposed to believe in tha white girl ? A blond noble girl being respected by pirates ? She would have been raped and reduced to a ransom in real life.

Plus, the decors are too cheap and too clean.

The show is a miss and will be cancelled. No one will watch this

Another great one for True Detective, can´t wait for the last episode which seems to mostly be about whodunit, though who knows what kind of twists we will see.

Can anyone suggest some series that is similar to Desperate Housewives? Mystery and stuff mixed in with social life/family and everyday life?

personally i dont care about decors or if its a white girl or not etc. I can ignore that and actually enjoy the show for what it is. I am however annoyed by Captain ?Vain? - in the first episode he is shown as the embodiment of terror but afterwards? Complete change of character into this love bound idiot.

Since a friend is enjoying it I guess I'll keep watching until a possible cancellation.

thats hilarious! because she is the reason why I don't like the show. Her,the female pirate, and the cook are the worst actors on earth.

matthew mcconaughey is an absolutely wonderful actor. I know that many people are rooting for Di Caprio but "true detective" is enough to show just how good the last oscar winner is. The final 15 minutes were exceptional from him and I'm quite sure he will get an emmy as well for this.

Just going by critic's opinions, I think he'll have tough competition from Bryan Cranston. Not sure. I think the show will still be eligible because of how they split the last season up.

Yes and I don't like season 2. Now that Graham knows that Hannibal is Hannibal, I'm not that much interested. Plus I think that showing the confrontation between Morpheus and Le Chiffre at the beginning of the first episode was a bad idea. There isn't much left to discover.

i saw the first 2 episodes of "the 100," it is by far the worst show I've seen. Terrible terrible terrible acting with massive amounts of cheesiness. -100/10 no joke.
