That's the double issue right? If so, 4 one-shots in one issues seems like a lot.
Wonder if they are just going to straight up axe Tokyo Wonder Boys and Stealth Symphony early to make room for the one-shots.

If it were the case, they would have finished this week to give space.
Also, the post talks about only one oneshot, maybe it is an oneshot made by all of them together.

yeah the posts wording makes it difficult to say if its one one shot by all four or if they are all doing their own, the excessive bolding doesnt help either.

This week's hayayomi is rather cool, you can pick one page (that isn't one of the last 4 ones) and read it, of course, if you copy the link to the image you can actually read all of the available ones, now, as the public raws for Jump haven't come out, I can't post the pages for all manga but I may do so when they come out

I must say that I really enjoyed the 4th chapter of IR. The problem I have with SS is how rushed it feels most of the time. IR does not rush things which is a very good thing(IMO). I'm starting to like the characters in IR already whereas I don't care much for any character shown in SS.

I wonder what WSJ plans to do with such a campaign. I get the 1-3 pages bit which is more like a teaser. But 14 pages is almost the entire chapter. Not complaining. Just incredibly curious as to what their goal is :P

I don't know how far have you gotten in SS but at chapter 5 the story begins to feel less rushed. IMO it wasn't rushed to begin with, but a lot of characters were thrown at us without getting to know the ones that are already there good enough. IR has a better pace and a sense of having a goal, yet I still find myself being more captivated by the world of SS. I hope that in the end they will both stick.

So, yes, the double issue is next week, but its ToC and chapters will be available this week. That's how it usually happens. Because next week there will be a double issue, it means there will be no issue two weeks from now, so next week we won't have ToC and new chapters because they would be from the issue that would be released two weeks from now.

Yes, the news are due to come. But I think we shouldn't expect nothing noteworthy. It's Togashi after all.

They count as a comeback but not to the main story of HxH. Not in my opinion anyway. I don't even think those specials are included in the volumes since if I remember correctly vol32 was released before and it includes all the remaining chapters that hadn't collected in tankoubon until ch340 which was released in Japan in December 2012.

Though that aside I find it really weird Volume 31-32 were released the same month at 3 weeks interval...

What a huge failure, they will think twice before doing this again.

Maybe it is to approximate the readers to the digital version of the magazine? If the japanese are as traditional as we are, they really like physical volumes and magazines rather than digital. At least, by what I talk around about this, physical is preferable.
