I think I told you that I'm not an old fan of D2 right? Only played the game (for the first time) a year before D3 or so, there's no nostalgia for me. I still could see that it was a great game back in the days. I don't even care too much about the endgame, honestly. I really enjoyed the story of D2, while D3 had an average story at best. No doubt that this kind of game is hard to pull off nowadays, because people just expect a lot more, but even then, D3 wasn't all that different to D2 regarding mechanics and stuff. And the difference of release is like what? 10 years or more. Just expected a bit more, and the story being lackluster was another bummer.
Not so much in the mood for online games anyway, so I'm not that hyped for Titan. If it turns out to be awesome (meaning great test results and people I know fangasm about it) then I might as well give it a chance, otherwise probably not.
Then it's not so much a fault of the system but your "fault" as well
If you don't want to own/reread anything you've seen/read once, then there's only you to blame. In that case you should rather buy manga or buy anime if you want to see something new. Crunchyroll would be a good start, yeah. The translation isn't top-notch, but fine. Enough to give something back for all the fun you had.
Not saying the system is flawless though, you're right with that. Alpha is just one example, there are many other series we just can't get without online Edited Mangas. Same goes for lots of anime (which tend to be extremely expensive anyway). So yeah, instead of focusing to prevent piracy, which they can't stop no matter what, they should rather focus on that aspect. Not like piracy would stop completely, but I'm pretty sure it would guarantee them some nice amount of extra money. Probably not so much compared to the whole japanese market, but still. That's the best way to prevent some piracy + earning some extra money. Probably not easy to pull off, dunno how much effort they're putting into that behind what they tell us, but their current effort with blocking batoto, nyaa and the likes is simply stupid

Totally forgot to answer regarding Durarara!!x2. The poster looks pretty average, yeah. Looks more like a poster that presents the status quo in the second part of the first anime xD

Just watched the AnoHana movie... it managed to made me cry again
It's not a perfect movie but really well done. There was more new content than I expected and they managed to combine that with the most impactful moments of the series, while giving more insight on the characters
Great job and worth recommending.
