Quick question: since we've been seeing Kanae lately, is there anyone translating the light novels for TG? Reason I say that is because since he's growing in popularity, it's possible we might be missing something presented only in the novels as the manga move on. That's assuming, of course, that the novels are canon.

It's a bit confusing to research, but you can find I guess anything there is in this masterpost + saezutte also started translating 2nd novel's chapter 3, she only added the first part a few hours ago.

Basically, saezutte has translated
(1.) short summaries of all chapters in novel 1 (Hibi/Days)
(2.) novel 1 chapter 3: Photography (Tsukiyama and Chie) -> yuuchanneru also translated this
(3.) started working on novel 2 (Kuuhaku/Empty) chapter 3: Pictures (Chie) -> asarachan also started

and Old McDonald translated
(4.) novel 3 (Sekijitsu/Olden Days) chapter 2: Lone Reading (Kaneki's aunt burns his books)

If you can read chinese/japanese that makes it easier I guess


Sazaette's are detailed summaries, the other person does full translation I think?

btw, can't help but wonder if that one (naruto-niichan in the masterpost) is our naruto-niichan. Never took him for a tumblr guy, but MH's niichan also likes Fate franchise I think

Looks like I was wrong - it wasn't Kanae with Chie but Tsukiyama. Oh well, I'm actually quite happy to get more characters, especially Chie who's human but not CCG. Actually, i was thinking since the first part that most of the interesting characters have come from the Ghoul side, and in :re it's the same but with a few more half ghouls.
Might just be me though.

It was hinted in the anime that he realized it the first time he saved him. He must have asked him questions and realized it when he was lying.

Anyone's got a link to the old character popularity poll results? It seems like they disappeared lol. The one where Kaneki was #1, Touka #2, Tsukiyama #3 ... the ranks are on each character's wikia page but I didn't find them in one place / too lazy to crawl through wikia character by character.

Or rather not question but "wild guess" Ive been thinking..Kaneki had white hair and Arima had white right? So what happenned to him in this 2years that made his hair go white? (and also Kaneki hair went uh "blite"? (gray) mhmm can you see it now? So maybe CCG did some operation on Ken and Arima? Or maybe Arima is a quinque now? (yeah.. I doubt it, he don't need this since he is a prodigy and why would CCG endanger theur Ace?)
So what do you guys think about it?

That's what happened to Kaneki (well, most likely) and I guess that's what happened to Arima as well? Overworking himself plus, being the ace of the humanity must be pretty stressful (that he doesn't show it doesn't mean it is not).

However, I've been thinking about Arima lately and well... who knows. Maybe half ghouls () are just more prone to it happening. Or some weird ghoul experiment human victims, or something. Arima definitely is not a mere human in any case xD

Nah nothing about white hair in Jack. He's still a teenager with luscious blue hair there xD
