Is that the sarcasm font? Some thought that about Illegal Rare and Gakkyuu Houtei though.Looks like Jump has another success!
We can see a pattern here. Illegal Rare, Gakkyuu Houtei and now Kagamigami. All of them had authors who had successes before. Is that the sarcasm font? Some thought that about Illegal Rare and Gakkyuu Houtei though.
Kagamigami has been doing better in the rankings than both iirc.Is that the sarcasm font? Some thought that about Illegal Rare and Gakkyuu Houtei though.
I wouldn't consider Psyren the success that Nura and Death Note were.We can see a pattern here. Illegal Rare, Gakkyuu Houtei and now Kagamigami. All of them had authors who had successes before.
Apparently, Jump editors really like to promote old authors to see them crumble right after, so I agree, it is better not get hopes up.
Idk man, 16 volumes is still pretty impressive for a Jump manga. Even if it didn't get the greatest sales numbers. By that logic, Saiki can't be considered a success right now, at 12 volumes while charting less than 90k in Oricon.I wouldn't consider Psyren the success that Nura and Death Note were.
Not really my intent to compare across genres in that respect, mostly comparing their length. By no means was Psyren a hit in terms of sales for a shonen battle manga. It's still a "success" in its own right for surviving for 3 years in Jump.Comparing a gag with a battle shounen isn't a good thing, gag mangas like Kusuo Saiki and Isobe never have huge sales, 90.000 is big for a gag, in other hand, a battle shounen selling this for 3 years in Shonen Jump means that isn't much more than a flop. Saiki is much more successful than Psyren.
Measuring success in Shonen Jump by number of volumes? Hokenshitsu no Shinigami had 10 volumes, rankings were bad and sales at Hinomaru level. wasn't a success, not even close, just a lucky flop.
Not saying that Psyren was really a flop, but sometimes looks like some people don't realise that Psyren never did something to be really considered a Shonen Jump successful manga. Just survive for three hard years and was finished.
I thought people wanted it to get a cover. This means either WT wont be getting a color page for chapter 100th or that next week it will be on break...
She has already appeared in the first episode though.I think Soma will get a big boost next week when Erina shows up![]()
Too fast appearance, she has to meet Yukihira first to give more impact. She has already appeared in the first episode though.
Do you read people minds? It could be one of the reason since someone could like her personality. Why would Erina make people go buy the manga?
Well, y'know how when a manga has really hot guys, you like it a lot?Why would Erina make people go buy the manga?
A drawing would be more efficient.Well, y'know how when a manga has really hot guys, you like it a lot?
So it's exactly like that for straight guys, they want to buy the manga because Erina is hot.
Get it?
