I noticed the first time the stress of serialization effecting Tabata. Lots of empty panels and expressions this chapter. He really must be feeling the opportunity of a cover and color page. The stress of a serialization in Jump cannot be simulated.

I always hear people say this, but World Trigger was having trouble in the rankings since the beginning, not just when the health problems started.
The editor for World Trigger isn't going to say that the series is unpopular, he's probably just saying that for damage control.

I don't read World Trigger, but why would the editorial department go through the trouble of clarifying such a thing if the rankings were that bad whether the author turned the manuscript in late or not? His health issues are well-known. They would just cancel it otherwise.

The World Trigger ranks are not being pushed back.
Since the beginning, in 2013, it's being ranked in 10/13 average.

Therefore it won't be cancelled anytime soon, and that's what matters.

It's all speculation. There's no proof.
The editors can say all they want, but the only proof that we have is that the TOC positions is not being affected by his sickness.

I'm not saying that WT is unpopular or that it's gonna be canceled.
I'm just saying that it is ranking as it's always did, since the beginning. No surprises. No unfairness. No pushes back.
