What exactly is this for again? I kinda forgot how this game went in Liar Game. Is this to make sure it reflects the rule of seeing someone physically using their vote?

In the manga they had to visibly hand in their ballot, so yeah it's the same I suppose

Can someone tell me what the point of player contracts is? It seems quite unnecessary.

Can someone tell me what the point of player contracts is? It seems quite unnecessary.

It adds a level of strategy to the game - rather than nigh randomly voting yes and no players can attempt to rig the votes. In the manga, for example, the players use a trick that guarantees their victory. It was a bit different in the sense that a group of people set up one player to win who would then divide the money between the rest - naturally we don't have money to split. Ah well, I'm sure some of us will find something smart to agree on

Dependa on the rules - a 'contract' is meant to be binding

So it looks like we will have enough people to have pairs/teams. This works nicely because the winners will get to split up the work of making the punishment sets. We'll just need to have an even number of players.
