We really should force republicans and conservatives into a rocketship and fly them off to the moon or Mars.
Well, to be fairUS got worse and worse and acquired more and more debt. Economy goes up and down, yeah, but the country also feels some long lasting damage.
Accordin to what I read, bigger military budget under Reagan hurt the country a lot. And it does hurt the country because you're using money that could be spent on better things. We're wasting so much money on military when we can use that to help the citizens and improve the country. I mean, if you cut the fundin for military in half and used that to improve the infrastructure and welfare, more people would benefit because they would have a job and get money for food and shelter. High military spending benefits no one, regardless of what conservatives want you to believe.
WalMart is spending 1 BLN dollars to raise wages this year so workers are going to be compensated handsomely for their time spent folding clothes or putting cans on shelves. If I remember correctly, Walmart has caused tons of smaller stores to close, putting more people out of work. And according to many employees, they don't get paid or compensated well, especially for the hours they work.
Okay I will concede on this point as sea level rise is already affected my homestate. Perhaps we could do with more climate change platforms. You do realize just because you're not affected doesn't make it any less real, right? And you are affected by it, and you will be affected by it. The weather has been abnormal for the past few years, and for crops that require certain weather at certain times, that means they die out. Less food. Plus, more heat means more ice melting, which increases sea level.
What is bad about it? People who have made it to high brain power positions deserve the praise and recognition for having a meaningful and relevant job. How are jobs like folding clothes or putting soda cans on store shelves important? The only people they are important for is for high school kids and letting it be a tool to teach them how it feels to work and earn and respect money, basically a life lesson tool. If youre an adult folding clothes or putting candy on store shelves, then youre lazy, sorry, but I think its the truth. Theres many other jobs that are available. Please explain to me why these low brain power jobs deserve to be considered important or not for lazy people? You do see these people listening to music on their ipods with headphones on or searching and texting on their phone while at work. Lazy. It's also utterly stupid to put value on jobs that require brain power. Lot of jobs may not require as much brain power, but they're just as important, if not more important, and they are in no way lazy. Only bad people would think this way.
People can still go to "bad" schools and make a name for themselves. When has a college denied someone for a high school they went too? I doubt it. Also we do know people in poverty make it into college so again the poor have the same opportunity as wealthy people to go to college. Look at the entertainment industry, theres many people who came from nowhere, USA to parents who were nonperformers and regular normal everyday Americans, and made it to the big leagues, same for sports players. No it fucking doesn't. It's beyond embarrassing just how ignorant you are about this. America will not provide anyone with an equal opportunity - people who are not wealthy will not have similar or as good an opportunity as wealthy people. Wealthy people can afford great schools and have better connections that allow them to get whatever they want while non-wealthy people are restricted to working twice as hard. Trump is a perfect example of someone who had good opportunities thanks to wealth - he needed $1 million to start, and he got it from his father. I highly doubt nonwealthy people would have $1million to give to their kid to help them get started.

Its a lazy job, if you cant do something so insignificant and riskfree as placing money into the right bank account, returning a card to a customer, or driving me from the airport to the hotel, or giving me a refill of Sprint instead of water and me having to remind you that you gave me the wrong drink, then I think there is no acceptable amount of mistakes that should be allowed. That said, have you ever measured how many times X or Y person makes a mistake in relation to his overall output over a period of several months to make the certainty that the person outside of acceptable margins of error statistically speaking?
Don't forget cleaning the huge store and dealing with rude customers, which I assume you're a part of. Walmart raising wages is good for the economy because that means people will have more to spend. The least they can do for killing smaller businesses.WalMart is spending 1 BLN dollars to raise wages this year so workers are going to be compensated handsomely for their time spent folding clothes or putting cans on shelves.

"Sea level has risen nearly 8 inches worldwide since 1880 but, unlike water in a bathtub, it doesn't rise evenly. In the past 100 years, it has climbed about a foot or more in some U.S. cities because of ocean currents and land subsidence — 11 inches in New York and Boston, 12 in Charleston, 16 in Atlantic City, 18 in Norfolk and 25 in Galveston, Texas, according to a USA TODAY analysis of 2012 tide gauge data collected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)."

You do realize bad schools mean it's harder for people to learn or get ahead, right? It has nothin to do with reputation. If you go to a bad high school where there are violence, bad teachers, and bad curriculum, you're not likely to learn much or get ahead. If the school can't afford good textbooks or materials, you will be pretty limited. It's common sense.People can still go to "bad" schools and make a name for themselves. Yet more proof that Sanders isnt who Blacks want as president. Clinton has at least always been an ally for Black rights while Sanders has only done very weak and insincere things for support.

So it's okay for people like the ones who worked for Enron to commit fraud, embezzlement, and deceit and get away with it, but a person who makes a mistake like forgetting to return a card or givin you the refill is lazy or a horrible person? K then.
First, you clearly don't run a business or work in a corporate environment to claim there are no margins of error acceptable. Most basic of these are punctuality and what is often termed a grace period etc. Adding to this any corporation with proper management likely has a matrix break down of risk from Extreme, High, Medium, and Low. Anything from Medium-Low is tolerable. Risk cannot be completely erased or avoided, it is an inherent aspect of any business. It can at best be mitigated or prepared for. So I suggest you educate yourself better, especially with labor and conduct before you mouth off again -- especially in terms of management. There is no management style that will not anticipate or set aside the possibility of mistakes or breakdowns occurring, because if they do not do so they would lack a proper back-up that would end up harming their business more.
No I wouldnt as that would be a terrible assumption to make. I hope people havent been thinking that I look like that, I treat these people with repsect in their jobs. Ill stop calling them lazy, however, I still think they are low brain powered jobs. But again, you have no right to look down on a job in which you have no experience in, it makes you look like an ass. That's like a Christian saying gay men have unprotected sex and get AIDS or molest boys. Would you like it if someone accused you of touching boys just because you're gay or having AIDS just because studies show more homosexual men have AIDS?
Ive only worked in such a position in high school to learn and appreciate money, but after high school, of course not. I think the assumption that they are low brain powered jobs is correct as verified by my many observations. Im a supporter of the need for jobs in America, so low brain powered jobs have to exists so that we can increase the number of employed individuals. However, for people in these low brain powered jobs, I would think it would be best if they are able to work 2 or 3 of these jobs each week. They can earn more money and we can actually keep the minimum wage down which will increase business productivity but also increase the amount of money going into workers pockets. Its a win win situation. You must have low brain power if you cannot see why these jobs are important. Without people who stock shelves, fold clothes, or clean the stores, the shelves would be empty and the stores would be messy and difficult to navigate through. Without people who drive taxis or wait on people, you would not be able to get to your destination quickly or get your food. Have you worked in any of these position that you have the right to assume they're low brain power jobs? Or is that an assumption based on conservative bullshit?
Results matter, this is yet another time in which Clinton has secured the black vote which provides strong evidence that the black voters believe that she is the one they need. If Clinton was clearly pandering, then she wouldnt be winning as people can see through pandering. Sanders is the one who is pandering, notice that he didnt even stop in South Carolina or even get in communication with those who have been treated unfairly by race relation issues in police forces. What has Clinton done do prove she's been an ally for black rights? Sanders has actually attended rallies and protested for black rights, and he has even gotten arrested for it. Sanders genuinely cares about people, and there is proof all over the internet while Clinton seems to be more of a panderer. Pretty sure the main reason why Sanders isn't the popular choice is because the media focused more on Clinton, and she is pandering to the blacks.
Everybody makes mistakes. So the higher ups at least deserve another chance to right what is wrong. To punish those most qualified for these positions is backwards thinking as punishing them will only hurt us all. These are great minds and great thinkers who are needed in corporate America. Meanwhile a worker in a low brain powered position, will just make a mistake and continue to make that mistake no matter what low brain powered job they get, without being able to access and use their brain power they are unable to change their ways and make less mistakes, much less, learn from past mistakes. Its a cycle they are stuck in as a low brain powered worker. For example, using the stock the store shelves example a high brain powered job would be the one who studied store layouts and maximized the product positions to be in quick access to what customers most want as well as the variety of stuff on shelves to maximize what customers want and what brands to sell and push. A person in a low brained powered position will put stuff on the wrong shelves or maybe not even at all, leave baskets in the middle of an aisle, and put old milk in front of new milk, and of course our favorite story, the bagger who places cans and boxes on top of bread.Bear in mind the financial meltdowns we've seen in this decade were not a result of file and rank employees but educated superiors, I wonder why you don't seem to show any disdain for their actions? Or for a plethora of other major institutional melt-downs that were a result of the higher ranks? What do you exactly have to say about them? They're definitely college degree holders with proper positions, and have worked hard for their position as evident in their CV. Yet... they've made mistakes... Certainly their mistakes have cost the country more than the blue collar workers you show such disdain for. Yet, I see more rage for what is considered low level risks but complete empathy to Extreme and High level risks committed by management?
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---
And if you bothered to actually look a lot of these supposed great minds I don't see the same disdain you show towards blue collar work? It is funny how you seem more forgiving towards their mistakes and are even acknowledge they should be given the chance to correct them when... you honestly don't afford that for the file and rank? That they too cannot afford to correct their mistakes? That you treat them as being less human, just by the way you express yourself.Everybody makes mistakes. So the higher ups at least deserve another chance to right what is wrong. To punish those most qualified for these positions is backwards thinking as punishing them will only hurt us all. These are great minds and great thinkers who are needed in corporate America.
I dont think Ive been spoiled and pampered. Ive put in long and hard work through primary school in areas of great income and race disparity to go to college when my parents havent and then to go even further. I know that being lazy wont pay off and only those who work hard can reap the best parts of life. I am very offended that I keep being attacked and also being called names and such, when I havent done it.I'm not sure if it's wise to continue this "debate" when it's clear you severely lack life experience and have probably been spoiled and pampered since you were a baby. that's the only explanation I can think of as to why you're so ignorant.
Clinton has had black allys for awhile meanwhile, Mr Sanders from 95% white vermont has done what? Clinton also has diverse people in her rallies and has a prominent well recognized voice in the black community even doing voice over for her ads [Morgan Freeman] Maybe from a white liberal standpoint people think Sanders is the man to choose for race relations but from an black perspective Hillary Clinton is the one to rally behindDid the majority give reasons why they supported Hillary? to be fair though, if citizens were smart enough, Trump wouldn't even be a threat, and republican candidates would be better.
Migrants steal jobs from deserving hard working Americans though. The jobs ought to be given to Americans first. Additionally through the power of more automated services in stores, the high school and early college folks will be more than enough to man these sorts of low brain power low responsibility jobs. Unless you believe a migrant with four children ought to be given first preference to stock soda cans in a store to support her family?Putting aside philosophy or morals, I invite you to check out the birthrate of each country or the demographic pyramidal before stating that menial work should only be fit for high school people. I'm not sure how you can even think that just hiring such age interval would be enough for the whole population. Not even mentioning some migrants who need to start from the bottom when they arrive.
There's not any "theft" going on if the workers are legal. The problem some people have with it is that if they're not legal, they're not legally allowed to be employed. But this sort of ignores the human issue of why people seek refuge here in the first place. They're not coming here to beg on the streets. They pay taxes as well.I have never understood the argument for immigrants stealing jobs. It's not like they go into a building, hold a gun to the employer's head, and demand they be hired. They get hired because they're either cheaper or better, but they offer more value in some way. I don't see why companies wouldn't go with that or why people choose to go after immigrants instead of companies that move ashore to maximize profits.
You're putting it as if the ones who hire are being threathened by them. Yet they're the ones who might favorate them because...they can afford to give them the level of wage you're most likely supporting for this kind of job. See where we're going there ?Migrants steal jobs from deserving hard working Americans though. The jobs ought to be given to Americans first. Additionally through the power of more automated services in stores, the high school and early college folks will be more than enough to man these sorts of low brain power low responsibility jobs. Like my candidate, Rubio, says, if Trump was going to build a wall he would probably hire illegal immigrants, so I don't support Trump (who was already accused of hiring illegal workers from poland). He can't be trusted. You're putting it as if the ones who hire are being threathened by them. Yet they're the ones who might favorate them because...they can afford to give them the level of wage you're most likely supporting for this kind of job. See where we're going there ?
Besides you're reasoning as if the stock of jobs is set, which our whole history is showing otherwise. If that were true, you'd be at 50% (random number but the idea simply is : several times bigger than now) of unemployment with the growth of population. Yet the rise of unemployment isn't following the growth of population. You have to realize that big companies are only a few and that most are little (which doesn't prevent innovation at all, quite the contrary, and is one of the greatest strength of the USA economically wise). Companies are rising and falling all the time, new jobs are constantly created, others destroyed.
That's one of my issue with people like Trump, they always blame something else to be the core of the "issues" they created in the first place. Oh btw did you know that the Trump Hotel (Las Vegas) is the one hiring mostly migrants from Mexico while paying them less than the other hotels around there ? The ones you're accusing to steal jobs ? I remember Trump is a supporter of building a huge wall with Mexico against migrants ? If it's not hypocrisy at its finest for you then I don't know what it is.
Why should someone who works to fold clothes not live in poverty? It doesnt make sense to somehow double their pay for such a meaningless task as this. Actually folding clothes might as well be regarded as busy work. The major problem I have is that by increasing the pay with these jobs the current high powered jobs will now have pay that is closer to what these people make and that is unfair. There should be a considerable gap in the measure of pay for jobs on the brain power scale. More brain power = more hard work = more pay. If folding clothes is not paying enough for the person in such a job then they have the freedom to get a second or third job. Many people do it currently and I don't see people complain or say something is wrong about it. Many are even able to still afford the necessities in life. You and democrats propose an unfair system that doesnt reward hardworkers.I think what Democrats and specifically Sanders are getting at that if a person works hard or *gasp* even takes pride in what they do, however menial it may be regarded by some, they shouldn't have to live in poverty. Simple as that.
If you feel there are too many of them in that position, then why wouldn't you wonder why the leaders, the thinkers, the-ones-who-are-not-lazy hire immigrants in the first place ? It's not like immigrants are putting their knife under the throats the ones who are hiring. The immigrants are just doing what....everyone (native or not) is doing, looking for a job, unless you support they should be even more "lazy" and be a weight for society ? The ones who are choosing are the ones who hire, why are you strangely cutting them slack ? Because they're native ? So how come immigrants are able to gather more than your native born American ? Does that mean the native born people are too lazy to look for a job ? Or maybe they just tend to think like you and think that those jobs aren't just worthy of them ?Like my candidate, Rubio, says, if Trump was going to build a wall he would probably hire illegal immigrants, so I don't support Trump (who was already accused of hiring illegal workers from poland). He can't be trusted.
Companies aren't hiring immigrants to put cans of food on store shelves or other low brain powered jobs like that. Theyre being hired to man Customer Service call centers. I can't tell the last time I had an actual American manning the phones. And mom and pop joints can be blamed too for favoring immigrants, I had previously mentioned in this thread how if you go to a Chinese restaurant the only people working there are people who can barely understand English and what not. Where are the traditional native born Americans working in these places? Not just restaurants but also tailors and seamstresses and other specialized industries. American jobs are under assault from immigrants and its time that we put a stop to these thieves taking jobs from the numerous Americans that deserve them. Its unfair.
If you insist on attributing meaninglessness to all of the filthy peasant-grunt workers below you, how exactly do you get any service? Why does anyone work these jobs if they mean nothing and contribute nothing? This reminds me of people insisting upon all illegals being deported. Do you even know what would happen to our farming industry if that happened? Why should someone who works to fold clothes not live in poverty? It doesnt make sense to somehow double their pay for such a meaningless task as this. Actually folding clothes might as well be regarded as busy work. The major problem I have is that by increasing the pay with these jobs the current high powered jobs will now have pay that is closer to what these people make and that is unfair. Isn't that sort of the opposite of what I'm saying...?You and democrats propose an unfair system that doesnt reward hardworkers
The immigrants are to be blamed, if they are getting the jobs and Americans arent then why would the Americans be blamed. Since the current president has made conditions for getting jobs difficult in America, its a dog eat dog world for any and all jobs. Every immigrant that steals a job by flooding the job pool with banded together immigrants is taking a job from a deserving American native. Just look at the landscape for jobs in America, so many non American doctors, surgeons, science professionals, engineers, and more. These thieves are ruining the future for our children. If you feel there are too many of them in that position, then why wouldn't you wonder why the leaders, the thinkers, the-ones-who-are-not-lazy hire immigrants in the first place ? It's not like immigrants are putting their knife under the throats the ones who are hiring. With these questions I'm not implying any answer, I just want to point out that you seem to take the easy or even lazy way by blaming the immigrants.
It is quite funny to have that discussion about a country with history so tied with immigration in the first place.

It makes perfect sense, you work your way up the ladder to more important and more important and more important positions. If we use any company framework, the manger is more important than the workers below, their manager is more important than the individual managers, and then above them, it goes until you reach the top unit managers, managers of the unit managers, district and regional managers, vice presidents, presidents etc. To say that the guy that folds the clothes is more important and more hardworking than the regional manager of the state for that company is kind of silly. Managing and enacting the companys vision is more important than folding the red bra that fell on the floor. You and Republicans propose that how hard someone works should be directly proportionate to how much money they make. Such a suggestion is oversimplification to the point of delusion. You mean to tell me that no one who makes less money than you works harder than you do? That the work they do might possibly be as important or even more important than what you do? Do you not see how asinine that sounds?
Work the jobs to get through college or training so that they can get a better job? The only real purpose of those jobs is to just have something to do while working towards something better. Just think about it from a social point of view, would anyone working as a person who stocks cans on a store shelf really feel pleased to tell their friends and family that they work as a grunt working stocking shelves? Will their grandchildren feel proud of them for working such a low brain power job? Its risky with these jobs as well as they are bound to go the way of the dinosaur once automatons happen.
I don't disagree however, instead of paying them more for these jobs, they should just work 2 or 3 jobs. Its just punishment for trying to take an easy way or shortcut in life by working less hard than others.ut if someone works full-time and does their job well, they should be able to live a comfortable life.
