Well we don't know if the black iron form is actually dragon force, since Gajeel has shown the ability to cover himself in scales before. There's also the fact that Gajeel gained that form after eating a lot of anti-magic particles, and that gave him a certain degree of curse power. That might not be how dragon force looks under magical power.
Natsu has Igneel's magical power, and magical power generally increases one's physical strength. Dragon Slaying magic is magic that transforms your physical body and gives it aspects of a dragon's body. This would likely include aspects of physical strength. We've seen Natsu perform inhuman feats of strength, and that was likely due to his magic. Long story short: Magic generally enhances physical strength.
You know if you're going to call someone out, you have to make sure what you are about to say is true. I'm not the one who came up with the idea that Zeref is weaker when he values life. Zeref himself said that. I'm just repeating what he said. Zeref revealed that he still valued human life when he was fighting Ultear, and that's why he couldn't use magic as much as he should be able to. Natsu's punch happened before that, so this version of Zeref was weaker than the current one.
Igneel gave Natsu all of his remaining magical power. Igneel > Atlas Flame.
I meant to say dent. Honest typo.
The stronger the opponent the harder it would be to push them back is sort of common sense.
Natsu couldn't push back Gildarts back on Tenrou Island because he was far weaker than Gildarts at that time, not because he lacks physical strength. Guren Bakuenjin wasn't even a punch.
I said Natsu couldn't push back Gildarts back on Tenrou Island because he was weaker than Gildarts, not because he somehow lacks physical strength. Had the target been someone weaker relative to Natsu, attacks like Guren Bakuenjin would have done more than push people back. The fact that Gildarts stood his ground against Natsu is proof that stronger opponents are generally harder to push around. This is the original point we're arguing about.

Sting also looks nothing like his father in Dragon Force. There's no reason why he should though even if he is 3rd gen. Its just learned magic.
Again though, your theory is possible; I just don't but into it.
I feel this chapter indirectly hints at the powerlevel of END(i don't know which thread i should post in END or powerscaling thread but as it is powerlevel i am posting it here).Probably Zeref himself can't stand up against END so there is a danger to Zeref. That's why Invel wants to hire Gray because he has Slayer advantages.

Nor does Natsu look like Igneel in dragon force, he just has red scales and that's it.
Gajeel obviously didn't go dragon force unless he combined his iron dragon slayer abilities with the black matter which would mean he is stronger than Natsu.

Well, Sting has diamond shaped scales like Weisslogia's back whereas Natsu has more square shaped scales like Igneel. Now while I agree that the scale patterns of the dragon slayers don't match up exactly with the parent dragons, that doesn't change the fact that it does seem to take after them. You also have to take into account that currently the dragon slayers are "mostly human" and that the scale features conform to their humanoid-shapes. Once you get to bone-deep transformations like we see with the movie promotional, the semblance becomes progressively clearer. You can still see that the scales aren't perfectly rectangular like with Igneel's around Natsu's arms and legs, but the wing that Natsu grows are. That's probably because the scales aren't trying to grow on a humanoid anatomy.

Magic may as well be steroids. MP definitely affects physicality which is why opening second origin equals an increase in mages physical abilities and why its impressive to take a serious attack with very low MP. Gray did seem to blitz the hell out of Invel when using DeS.

The horns are different. Theres a greater resemblance sure but its still no proof at all. I find it much more likely that dragons of the same greater are more than not going to share common physical attributes such as feathers for sky dragons and metal scales/armor for metal dragons.

Perhaps you are right. Maybe they are not based entirely on their parent dragons, but I still think they take after them. Kind of like how a child is to their parents, I suppose. I tend to think that every dragon is unique. Atlas Flame, for example, is a flame dragon and his design is unique. Though you're probably right that some dragons types will have adapted a set of features more than another type.
What? Invel even acknowledges Natsu as the only mage to break out of his ice! Thats far more impressive that just freezing Natsu. Im that sentence alone he acknowleges Natsus strength. Your just blantly refusing to see Natsu as Spriggan tier at this point.
Seriously, go write fanfiction if you want to change manga logic.
He casually froze Natsu like it was nothing, and froze his flames in an instant. How is Natsu breaking out of the ice more impressive than that, when he had time and space to operate? Yes he acknowledges Natsu's strength, but that doesn't indicate they are on the same level. You blatantly refuse to see differing opinions even though it's a fact that Natsu hasn't soloed a spriggan on a one on one basis.
Tactic/cunning etc. like that Invel take advantage where's he can if be more stupid if he didn't use it while he has a chance it means he using everything he got in his arsenal to get advantage I don't see a problem here ( Of course he is facing FT Mages so we know that it will fall in the end )
'Generic Low key spell " it's working ?? it is as long as something payoff is impressive for me
i told the outcome of battle will be shown in beginning of chapter 500 also it comes two ways you can't be certain that it will last longer
It's not really a tactic, when the person isn't even looking at you lol. It's more of a opportunistic counter of Invel, and a use of common sense. Cunning can be applied too. When your enemy has his back turned on you, you take the advantage. There was literally no thinking involved for it to even be a tactic. In most cases, you think when using tactics.
Generic low key as it isn't anything special. It's similar to Meredy's magic, just different properties.
If it doesn't last that long, then it would be just be terrible writing for a spriggan and Zeref's right hand man to go out this quick

Take your own advice. Go write fanfiction, and stop fangirling.
You dont need to solo a spriggan to know when the mage in question has shown feats above and beyond what only August and Elaine have shown. Feats wise, hyped by enemies wide
He ko'd k a spriggan with a single hit when he got serious
Evaporated an entire lake
Hyped by branish as not believing Natsu could take out said spriggan
Tanked a fraction of a mountain level spell by the strongest spriggan, august
The only mage to break out of invel's absolute ice magic, and freed others around him at the same time
And more! Natsus fight are going to be less than 100 pecent until the final chapter of the war, but until then, ACCEPT the facts and feats.

Yeah, you do need to solo a spriggan. Otherwise it's just assumptions.
He koed a vulnerable spriggan who was damaged, and hasn't shown to have good durability.
Good magic feat, but all spriggans have shown to have similar with their area of effect hax
Hyped by branish as not believing Natsu could take out said spriggan
What do you mean by this?
Do you know what tanking means? Natsu didn't tank August's spell. He endured it, and he had resistance to it because of it's heat.
Invel's casual ice magic.
Point out the more. So you're banking on Natsu soloing Larcade then? Accept the facts that Natsu hasn't soloed a spriggan by himself, and hence isn't spriggan tier until proven otherwise.
Um excuse me Its "Natsu fan". Not every Natsu fan feels the need to argue if someone doesn't except their point. Personally, I think Natsu will be the figurehead on fighting Zeref considering he's END and his brother. But I'm not excluding the possibility you included either, honestly in my opinion both options would be sick. Natsu could go move the END plot line along while Gray's busy crushing his brother and vice versa. We're all fans here, let's not turn this into Yonkou's tumblr page...
Well, it seems most of them like to argue and force their opinions on people, rather than accept of having a different perception tbh. I noticed it's this fandom that does it the most. Personally I feel Jellal, Gray and Mavis will have big roles in battling Zeref especially Mavis. She's always be the corner stone and opposite and also lover for Zeref, so I can definitely see it since their attachment toward each other has been the longest out of any character in the manga , also Mashima logic: he loves to add in ships here and there. Jellal for his guild creation, mission. and Gray for his past cause for suffering due to this guy, and trump card statement.
@Bold, Tell that to your fandom by quoting some of them, when they came up with the pitchforks at a different opinion. When I was being peaceful.
If he has soul magic, dont you think he can bring out The essence of END? Or OR OR!!!!!!! HE IS SIMPLY THE KEY TO NATSU/NATSU'S OTHER HALF! Lol<---- joke theory. Getting off topic for the chapter tho. I dont think Grey is going to play a significant part in this war. It is just an aside that will lead to nothing. His fight with Invel will be his c rowning jewel in this manga
END reveal or not, its just going to be another
Zeref vs Igneel-powered Natsu fight where Grey fail in the end.
Just my opinion tho, i just havent seen Grey show enough to tell me he is capable of being anything more than an aside
People always wants to compare Grey to Sasuke of the naruto world so i will here. While it seemed like naruto was always behind sasuke it was in fact the opposite with Natsu always showing sasuke up. All the way to their final, natsu was one step ahead.
Grey will remain one step behind Natsu, as he has been this entire manga.
When has Gray ever failed? Keep telling yourself that.
Gray hasn't shown anything to be more than an aside? Need I remind that you that Gray is one of the few characters who happened to take down bosses in two seperate arcs. Let me know how many characters have done that. I mean it's clearly shoved in your face that Gray is going to play a major role against END, and a possible big role against Zeref, which will happen to be one of the biggest fight in the series, but it seems facts don't get to you.
Gray showed Natsu up before, and he may do it again. Indications suggest Gray has shown to be above Natsu which has seen through the entire manga.
Now guys , when has MASHIMA made 2 FT members fight seriously ? (since LAXUS).....As for the comparison ,we already have a tons of fights ahead......Against LARCADE , ZEREF & ACNOLOGIA.
In every fights , NATSU's magic is of most necessity...(Not sure against LARCADE).
As for END , he is going to be strong as hell...Think about it, why would u bring character back after such a long time if he is going to be weaker / is possible to defeat easily.
This! Natsus magic BURNS other mages magic. He burned Zeref's black magic, invels ice... his very aura is deadly. Natsu's strength is the key victory, i just wish my main man Laxus was up and stomping.
