I love the overreaction Natsu-Lucy fans have towards Mashima not being consistent with the pairing. like, not much indicates their romance or relationship developing much, and yet the fans seem to think otherwise, it's hilarious. While it would be cruel, it'd make sense if Natsu and Lucy didn't end up together. Odd, though.

I mean, the only thing that implies they might end up together is that they've spent a lot of time with each other on screen...

lol can't help but agree to this fam. It's like it's so obvious but it's not at the same time. Being purely objective, the way Hiro described them---"more than friends, less than lovers"----really is a perfect way to describe them AT THIS MOMENT. Of course they can get more romantic but it's just the honest truth they haven't shown the romantic implications like the others in the big 4. Either way I find their relationship love, I feel like we all should have someone who we can cool it with and not have to worry about stuff like how they are; Hiro really made their relationship in an ambiguous way but is doing a great job in general developing them

I don't think he's done much in developing them though, and I too am being objective. They're closer and friendlier and trust each other more now than they did in the beginning of the series, but the development is more friendship than anything else. Romance is barely there, and it's kinda screwed up that fans consider groping any sort of development, whether it's due to Lucy's reactions or not.

I guess we'll see at the end though, or near the end. if Natsu goes batshit crazy as END, I would be surprised if Lucy didn't play a big part in bringing him back to normal/who he was.

I think their relationship is exactly WHERE they are supposed to be as the main characters right now. Their dynamic and their plotline doesn't center around romance.

They look like best friends that will probably eventually, slowly, and steadily become romantic with some goofy sexual tension that's not unusual for hormonal teens.

As for Lucy's role in the END (heh), I'm of the belief that Natsu will be rampaging, Gray will lose himself, and it'll be up to Lucy and Juvia to stop them from basically destroying Magnolia and each other through the power of their respective bonds (Gruvia: love, NaLu: deep friendship or love)

Not everything revolves around Lucy. Maybe now it's time for Erza to save the life of Natsu.

I have a question: would anyone be mad if Lyon and Meredy were endgame... based off what we've seen between the two (which are like two panels)? For me, I wouldn't be too mad. Everyone loves development but idk, Meredy's life is pretty fucked up cause Jellal really is her only family figure still around with Ultear a granny, and Lyon has admitted that Juvia doesn't like him. I think I would be cool with this

I just want Meredy to end up with someone, she's had one of the worst lives in FT (seems to be a requirement of joining CS) and I've always liked her character. That said I think that it wouldn't be too bad if she didn't end up with someone, I mean not everyone will be with someone by the end of FT and Meredy could be one of those. I guess my opinion is put her with Lyon or don't put her with anyone, Lyon is hinted to like her and they work well IMO.

As for me I personally don't feel Lyredy that much like my other crack ships but I have nothing against it and it would be nice to see Meldy, after all, she went through finding some happiness at the end of the story ( but this apply for me for most characters in FT that had fuck up past )

Still, for me, Meldy finding Ultear and take care of here would be good ending for her and someone like Lyon ( or someone else ) would be the addon to that for me.

We will see what future Hiro prepared for characters with sad past that aren't part of FT and are in story for quite some time (they deserve happy ending

).

I also agree on Lyon after what you've said, it does seem a bit crappy just to put them together because Juvia rejected him and Meredy was nearby. Hmmmm.... Maybe Midnight x Meredy? I just don't want Meredy to be the next Porlyusica.

For me personally see at the end, Meldy taking care of old Ultear would be better than any ship but I'm open here and I will see what will Hiro prepared for her

And I have nothing against Lyon and Meldy ending together I just personally don't feel that ( Unlike KaguraxMillianna (

) that is also a crack ship for example ) but if they end up together it's fine with me overall.


I quite interested how will Macbeth and Racer future looks like ( We can see that in others CS members but here no lead :P ).

Still, from side guilds, we will be lucky if we will see some characters not all cause main focus will be big 4 and FT..
