I guess S2 will be a longer season. The sports festival has the same amount of chapters as everything until the end of USJ. Putting the sports festival AND Stain into 12/13 episodes would be a disaster.
And with 24 episodes it could reach the end term exam. S1 ended at chapter 21. If S2 ends at chapter 68 (the results of the end term exam) with 24 episodes it could go at a steady 2 chapters per episode pace. 12 episodes for the sports festival, 6 for Stain, 6 for the exam.

But something else: Why is Shouta Nirengeki drawn so big on the picture? He has 1 sentence during the whole sports festival and nothing more after that. Someone like Kendou or TetsuTetsu would make sense, but they aren't even on the picture. Shouta is the only one there.
Does Horikoshi probably hint at him getting more important soon?

I guess he just wants to appeal the character to the audience? He might be a fav character of Horikoshi's even though he doesn't really get any screentime.

But don't forget how slow and stretchy first season was, some episodes was one chapter for episode, or even half of chapter. Sports festival are much more dynamic, without a lot of talking, so i can see two and a half three chapters for episode, will be normal speed.

Actually, the sports festial has a lot of talking. The other classes gathering information about class A, All Might's talk with Deku before and multiple times during the festival, the opening ceremony, the different groups forming for the 2nd game, Todoroki talking in private with Deku, Deku's observation of all the other new students etc.
But this isnt the right thread for this discussion. The hangout or anime theory threads are more fit for it.

Not necessarily. Himiko's popularity seems to have surprised even her creator... only he has a problem -- according to his own notes, apparently he finds her the hardest to draw of all his characters. So drawing her like this on twitter seems more like service for her fans. That said...What is THAT?? the thing she is dribbling... blood from?
