It'd be interesting if Ace was a marine, Sabo was the revolutionary, and Luffy the Pirate

It wouldn't be fun at all, both the story and Luffy himself. He wouldn't be able to enter the Marine the way he is now, his level of discipline is zero. haha
If you add discipline to Luffy, he wouldn't be as funny as he is now. The story would also be limited by hierarchy.

To me Ace is the less interesting of all three, I loved when he died desperately (I thought Luffy would go super saiyan after a loved one's death since gear 2nd is obviously Oda's version of the kaiouken, but oh well...). About the Fleet Admiral, isn't Coby's dream to be it?

I can't imagine Luffy fitting in with Marines. He is a guy who loves freedom and doing what he wants, not discipline and following orders.
In other words, Luffy would need to be a completely different character in order for him to fit in with this plotline.

I was answering @Buranchi , between superpower and weapons, the latter is certainly more realistic. The Promised Neverland seems to be a science fiction where superpower wouldn't combine that much. One scene from the last chapter could support my theory that humans don't necessarily use force out there: who was talking to the alien in equal ground was skinny scientist. I don't think that mere weapons, even more in the hands of children, could threaten aliens, it is something else... That something else is what is interesting in all this...

I was thinking it suggested there are a group of humans who created these monstrosities to alter the worlds balance and thus why there is an evil scientist there tracking the creatures health and also why there would be breeding grounds for humans.
