And on the topic, the weird thing is how Tabata gets the medieval time right, unlike Okamoto in Demon's Plan, despite Tabata not having much to do with Medieval fiction. But making stuff on the run, only a couple of authors can succed at that. This man is just... well... I said nuff

In Viz Podcast Sasaki was talking about Noashi Komi works

he said "his first work was Double Art, his second work was Nisekoi and we have an..." then he stopped himself and said "I think we can expect something new from him"

If this interview can be taken as a accurate indicator of Tabata's thought process that I think I can assume that Tabata ascribes to the "Akira Toriyama" school of writing. Aka writing by the seat of his pants.

I seriously think he came up with the "Vice Captain" at that exact moment.
The whole interview just reinforced the idea that he's an incompetent man child in his 30's with very limited intellectual and creative abilities.
He even his editor has to fucking guide him along and do most of his work for him in writing that laughable attempt at a narrative.

Really neat about Gotoge being a woman! It's really so obvious now that I'm aware of it.

Quick question. After skimming through the forums for a bit its pretty obvious a lot of people here don't have the highest opinion of Black Clover. Not saying those positions are unjustified. But if it came out in another era do you think it would be better received?

I guess this question also relates to the issues series like Dragon Ball Z and older series have to face when presented to a modern audience.

A source on Gotoge being a woman would be great, same thing with Posuka. Don't want false information to spread. It's better to write out the author/artist name unless we have true confirmation. Their names are not that long.
