Dragon Ball heroes is doing way better than I expected

OP previous volume jumped 40 place up and BnHA 13 jumped 20 place up, they are closely behind Samon now
at this rate both will appear on next week oricon
I wonder what happened that made them jump :hmm

if it Shinbou-sama, then crossing 100k mark isn't just a dream

also the reactions for Kanao's origin story in Japanese social media is very positive, hoping that will also help increasing the volumes sales

I think I just figured out the reason for old volumes jumps, OP jump is because the filler is over and Big Mom made her anime debut and heroaca jump must be because how big Deku was on the all star cover?

anyway, if this a silly childish DBZ spinoff is selling well I'm really curious about how DB Super volume 3 will sell next month, it's the volume with Zamasu stuff in it, I think it will sell between 200k and 300k

You can't really say a series, even a silly spin-off that debuts in the 30s and 40s is selling particularly well because most of its sales will be in the first 2~3 days after which it drops out of the top 50. Even Samon right now might not be in the top 50 in the daily Shoseki around this weekend because of how fast series that low drop out of the top 50. Kimetsu however is growing at a nice steady pace.

Also, One Piece's volume 84 coming back up again is actually pretty common for the series. Whenever a new volume came out, the previous volume would again start rising, coming back into the top 50, either because people missed it and bought both to get caught up or other unknown reasons. Heroaca rising up from 45 to 23 is big though. It being Golden week and thus people having time to actually relax and buy the series might be one possible reason.

The OVA is bundled with a special edition of volume 11.
It is? Oh sorry then, my mistake.

Thank you for the information.

Do we know that the sales for MHA volume 13 are counting the OVA limited edition, or are they separate? I remember volume 7's limited edition was separate, but we saw that limited edition in the charts.

It was treated as a book instead of as a comic so it didn't show up on any ranking chart.

I wonder if Amalgam will sell better than Spring Weapon yet again.

No it's not, the video is poorly research and he is missing a lots of facts.

He says One Piece is on a decline, his facts are the 2010 sales and 2016 sales (this is false), also he compares Nisekoi sale and MHA sale.

He claims Kochikame and Assassination Classroom got cancelled (this is also false)

His ranking is also false.

I didn't bother to watch the last 5 minutes when he talks about the 6 new series, because the other 70% are false facts.

I actually really like Eyepatch's videos. They're usually quite good for what they are. However, this is probably his worst video. It comes off as a video from an outsider when it comes to following WSJ. His video has a lot of iffy information, and some flat out false information.

Some stuff that bugged me in particular:
Assassination Classroom, Kochikame, and arguably Nisekoi were not cancelled.
He left out Kimetsu in the ranking data for some reason?
He included World Trigger, yet didn't include HxH in that data. Does he not know World Trigger is currently on hiatus? If not, that pretty much sums up his research.
