Man, I love it when professional mangakas share their drawing videos like this. It really gives a lot of perspective on their techniques and shows what aspiring artists can learn from them to develop their own techniques.
I find fascinating myself but for different reasons. It's amazing how the art feels alive. But at the same time I find it frustrating since I can't draw a house with some lines.

They can do whatever they want, but please don't write kanji when you are in drawing mode, they write too fast and there is no way to understand that crappy writing. XD
Man, I respect editor a lot to be able to translate the hieroglyphics authors write. :P

looks like Muttsuri Shinken got the axe today on Jump Plus

which makes wonder if the mangaka career is over now, both Swot and Zan flopped badly in WSJ

they demoted him to Saikyo and then Plus app and still he came up with nothing noteworthy

Ishojo and the DJ manga ended too, not too long ago

The bait level in this post is over nine thousands. XD

He didn't make them copies of Nisekoi characters, what are you talking about?

I don't remember any scene where we were able to see her cup size clearly though... She is always with a baggy coat that doesn't show the silhouette. :P

The author knows that Takemoto is the best girl. +1 respect.

That's amazing. It's awesome how he can draw a character like that in this time lol If it was me, it was going to take hours or days to reach this level of drawing. It really shows how difficult is to draw like that.

Swot guy's still going after all this time with nothing but failures under his belt, he seems a bit too determined to be the type to just quit the industry altogether. I expect he'll just try with another publisher if shueisha stops accepting his stuff some day.

Has anyone else noticed that Yuno's grimoire is in a different color? Before he was gold and beige, but on the cover of this last edition, he is completely green. Mars's hair was also pink in the beginning, and in that last arc of the witches was white... I wonder if these changes have any meaning or if Tabata just erred in maintaining the colors.

The green version now matches the original magic emperor's but I doubt it's anything important.
Maybe they're just changing up the colors so the anime isn't so gray.

i don't think he'll die. I think he'll be injured very badly or take in so much of the quirk removal stuff that he won't be able to use it permanently. So I think his career will be over before it even starts

This is great, actually, the series is maturing. It has to become more exciting though, the last chapters were meh.

I wonder if Horikoshi actually has the balls to kill Mirio. Something bad might happen to him, but death? I'm not so sure. It would be really cool, and interesting from a writing perspective if he did, but Mirio is such a well received character.

He has been that good though? The first chapters when he appeared, when he fought (more like played around) with the students, was awesome, but now... Not exciting at all, I think Midoriya rub off on him too much.

death, blood, sex, shock effect and gore =/= maturity
18+ ratings =/= mature

Fire Punch, Akgame ga kill, AoT, Tokyo Ghoul etc...are perfect examples of this

how the story is structured,
plot points that are not forgotten about,
theme exploration,
progression that feels natural and not forced,
characters that evolve, and their development doesn't get undone

these are some of what makes stories mature

funny how both the cheerful blond aniki characters in BnHA and KnY raised all the death flags at the same time
hope both pull through I'm loving both

speaking of bnha, Vigilante latest Giga chapter is basically BnHA pro heroes chapter, weird how the spinoff characters were shelved for the entire chapter

This is going to be an interesting round of volume releases as Soma has rarely competed with Heroaca with new volume releases.

It's still possible for it to get an announcement before it ends, which could be very soon from what I've heard, but if it ends before an announcement the likely hood that it will get one gets cut by around 60% in my opinion.

According to dictionary.com, maturity can also means full development. I was not talking about about +18 content, I was talking about the development of the story. For me, it is crucial to have serious moments in a story like this, the hero world is not the fantasy that Midoriya and company lives in, they are going into the professional world, this arc is all about that, the intricate things that happen in the hero world fighting against villains that are much smarter they've seen so far. A event like the one described would fully develop the series in a new episode. Take Marineford arc in One Piece, it was the greatest arc the series had so far because it was a point of development that culminated with the death of Ace and Whitebeard, that dramatically affected all the characters.
Is Mirio presence strong enough to make this impact? I don't think so, but it is subject to another thread.

Tokyo Ghoul seems like a pretty mature series to me.
