I know you guys are in love with Cross Account (sarcasm) so there is one more oneshot from the author on Jump+! This is also a romance. I'm going to read when I have time.

The first info for Shokugeki no Soma 3rd season also came out. The director looks excited in this tweet. xD
They say it that battle against the Elite Ten will be depicted, but it is obvious, so it doesn't say much.
I think their emphasis on Azami, Rindo and the first seat shows that they are not going to only adapt the Moon Festival, those three doesn't appear much there, only in the very end... I think Rindo appears more than the Azami and the first seat though. I have to put my volumes to some use and reread it. XD

The kanji 餐 (さん) means "dining" although it is an archaism. They had to go to some old parchment to find this kanji. XP

I just noticed that that scene there from Rindo looks like this one from the manga. It is emblematic, so I remembered instantly. As far as I remember, this scene doesn't happen on the Moon Festival, it is a bit farther in the story.

It's still in the festival arc actually, right near the end. Everything they've put out so far is from those two volumes.
We won't know if they're going further until they push Eizan.

According to this Yuragi is changing editors. New one will be Takano, who is currently responsible for Kimetsu.
It was announced on the twitcast apparently.

I've read the last 20 chapters of Kimetsu no Yaiba last weekend, and enjoyed the... how is the arc called? The Sleep demon arc? What ever its name may be, I've enjoyed it a lot.
But I also see that KnY is the second manga of the mangaka, because I can still see certain flaws, which I normally dont see. For example(dont worry, no real spoilers) how Rengoku got praised several times, but without showing how good he was. I mean, we got to see it later, but the manga still told us more about this, then actually showing it.

But I really enjoy KnY protagonist. Dude is so kind, he doesnt want to die, bc he dont want the guy who stabbed him, becoming a murderer.
I dont know, are such protagonists really not popular with mainstream audience, or is it more difficult to write such a characters, and keeping them interesting?
I know, people complain about comic heroes like Superman and Captain America because they're too 'boring'/too good, but having a nice guy as a protagonist is actually a good thing in my eyes(of course, it depends what story is told). I guess, people prefer characters, with whom people can identify, like with Naruto. Which is understandable, but I still really enjoy KnY protagonist a lot(ironically, I've forgot his name, right now).

I think the main part of Tanjiro's charm is that he is genuinely a nice, heartwarming person. The way he and his siblings adore each other, showing compassion even towards demons. It's also a plus that he isn't the typical "dumb" mc (Luffy, Naruto, Goku, Asta).

KnY has a lot of potential, even now. The manga is good and I do enjoy Tanjirou as a character, the dream sequence in the current arc hit the feels and the last chapter. I'm hoping for the mangaka to give more spot-light to the other main characters.

Deku is a lot better MC than Tanjirou. Tanjirou is 80s main guy. Deku is the new wave of MC. I dont like Tanjirou just cos I read and watch a lot of 80s stuff.

I took a look in my volume 16 this time and it is true, it is right at the end of the festival, but, you know, the next page announces Azami as new dean and all that. I can imagine the situation in the anime: "TOOTUSKI IS NOW IN THE HANDS OF A CRAZY DICTATOR! AND... That's it guys, sorry, lack of episodes...". Even if they did this because of cliffhanger to make people buy the manga, it is too cruel! XD
I have a more reasonable argument though, the Moon Festival exists for the purpose of giving impact to Azami presentation and all that, everything happens very fast after that and it wouldn't have any place good to end the anime without feeling abrupt. The two arcs are extremely linked.
Unless they make YOU-KNOW-WHAT.

Yaraon showed a Umaru-chan reference in the series. I haven't even read this week chapter yet and I'm already loving it. XD

Two questions: HOw was Cross Account's 2nd chapter?

And which is your favorite manga spinoff from a jump main manga?

Boku no Hero Academia Illegals. Pretty much is the only one that is good enough. Everything else is pure shit.

That would mean we'd lose Zumou, Gintama, and Hunter x Hunter in the same season. Can't imagine they'll let Zumou go instead of the lower ranking new ones.

Zumou has earned it's ending, and I mean earned a good ending. I'd kinda be mad if Jump forced it to continue past the ideal spot (at this point in its life anyway) while canceling some new series that still has potential to garner a new audience. Plus, I wanna see what Kawada can do next.

I think earlier this year someone here posted about Jump's 2017 target for the sales for its new series, neverland, yuuna, kimetsu....

does anyone have a link to that post?

since we're already pass the midway point of this year I would like to compare how close or far they're
