In my opinion and feel free to disagree, everyone is entitled to their own, it looks weird, dare I say it looks almost like incest. Lucy and natsu have this brother sister relationship and this feels extremely forced. Just look at the dragon cry movie in the first 2 minutes of natsu and lucy interacting he has to go 2 inchs from her face just to appease the shippers and his excuse for being mere inches from her face is flimsy. I have no doubt hiro will make them a couple as nalu is his bread and butter, as the nalu fans have probably made hiro more money then any other aspect of fairy tail. The other couples have excellent cheminstry and it does not require one falls on the other and landing on their boobs, they just look fantastic together. look at any cover with jerza, gale or gruvia they look like lead for a love manga, but when I see nalu I think ewww that looks like incest, just my opinion

Dude, no brother and sister would have the amount of tease of fanservice moments together like those two had. You see you're not realizing that by forcing them as brother and sister, it looks like incest especially with the fanservice.

Never understood the argument that Natsu and Lucy looked better as friends. Natsu and Lucy started as friends, and eventually it's grown to the point where they consider each other as family. Natsu, Lucy, and Happy are a family. You see this in the movie when they cuddled together at the end, and you see this last chapter when Natsu said "I'm home" when he fell on top of Lucy and Happy. Even though Hargeon is nowhere near Magnolia or the guild, Natsu still felt at home near Lucy and Happy. Besides, when I see an image like this, it's hard to claim that Lucy doesn't have any feelings for Natsu.

But, yes, Natsu has plans for after the war, and by the expression of Happy, everything seems to indicate that it is a girl (maybe it is Erza ).

Feelings or not, they still look much better as friends than as a couple. It's from a limited PoV as we've never seen them as a couple, but the way they affect each other as friends is great. Reminds me of Sakura and Naruto after Sasuke left and before Naruto got bad - Sakura and Naruto encouraged each other and got stronger for each other (and Sasuke). Likewise, Lucy and Natsu encourage each other and all that stuff.

I mean, it's murky enough with Gray and Juvia given Juvia's character is quite limited nowadays. At least Lucy and Natsu are great as friends.

Natsu have tried kiss Lucy when Asuka ask to do it.
Natsu have tried spy Lucy on shower.
A lot of characters have said that Lucy and Natsu are ''flerting'' or something like that.
Every scene when Mashima needs to show the couples is Natsu and Lucy interacting with Gale, Jerza, Gruvia, etc.

And is there people saying that they are like sister and brother?

But remember:

Natsu technically (was forced to) killed his brother.

Turned out to be a demon and nearly killed Grey

Genuinely thought Lucy had died and turned into END as a result

Was going to confess (you know it) but got teleported to Acnologia’s dimension with a busted arm and beat up body.

Zeref actually killed Natsu and told him about Makarov’s death, crushing Natsu emotionally and killing him physically at the same time

Zeref shot magic through the book of END and hurt Natsu in the process

The whole arc Natsu refrained from telling anyone about him being END and held it in as long as possible

Was just a pawn in Zeref’s elaborate suicide attempt

The guild was destroyed (again)

This whole arc Natsu couldn’t catch a break.

You know what he would need more then ever? To run away from all the conflicting emotions and trauma. The fact that he even smiles at the end instead of breaking apart at the seams is amazing.

Natsu needs to go on another mission, he needs Lucy by his side forever. A piece of normalcy is the best cure in this situation. Give the kid a break, with everything that happened I don’t think he’s emotionally or mentally ready for a relationship right now. Poor guy just needs to heal.

They'll marry when he knocks her up actually, Lucy would be upset that she has a shotgun wedding so they won't marry. Baby #2 arrives and they aren't married so what's the point? Third one comes along and now they are thinking they are a family. Anna is like 80 when they decide to tie the knot with their older children in the ceremony.
