Mag Talk Weekly Shonen Jump [2017] - Discussion and TOC Talk

Issue 50:
Yuragi (Big Announcement)

The Wint... cof cof.
I mean.
The Hype is coming...

[Tamil]

I'm guessing Yuragi is gonna get an OVA, I don't think it's ready for a full anime yet, especially since the volume sales have plateaued.
_
Holy shit, that TOC. Editor mind games are strong this week. WNL, Kimetsu, and One Piece new big 3.
Black Clover way lower than usual as well.

I would say OVA but one of the recent chapter covers hints at it being a TV anime.

[iceemperor]

Black Clover being in the bottom half is rather interesting. Heroaca didn't drop that much until the tail end of the second season. BC has a cover next issue so its probably a one time thing but its still interesting to see that it doesn't have an "anime protect".

[Caiops]

Jump just stopped giving color pages for RxL ;-;

[ChocoBar9]

Hoshin Engi whill b e animated by Studio C-Station

[Doughboy]

Can't wait to see Sagiri and Oboro animated

Probably they will give a CP before issue 52.
I have faith that before issue 1 they will give something to RxL.

Can't wait to see Sagiri and Oboro animated

Me too, I also includes Miyazaki Chisaki.
She's the Best Girl for me.

Apparently Seishun's editor is actually younger than Hasegawa, who is already pretty young at 27 years old. Its rather interesting that they'd put such a young editor in charge of a rookie who's on his first serialization. Its possible that that editor themselves just entered Shueisha a few years ago so they might not have too much experience with many series.

It's Hasegawa's second series.

I stand corrected. Its still interesting to see this pairing of young mangaka and younger editor.

So the studio which animate Houshin engi has only 2 series in which it took the helm over production and it was Starmyu(a series that sold a lot, had 2 seasons of 12 episodes that I didn't see)and another one in Jan. 2018 and a director's first time directing...I kinda lost some of my hype but hope it will still be good.

[Scruffy8642]

Wew Yuuna OVA/Anime. There is a god.

ToC wise, move HZ up two places and its a pretty accurate top 5 imo.

[Nemesis]

Yuragi-sou anime or ova probably being announced.

[Mammo]

when does copying become plagiarism? never forget bleach-carnate

it's an obvious homage

Another weird TOC and once again no color pages for Heroaca. Feels like its been ages since the last one.

nothing new on BnHA and next week they will also run a oneshot

I have a bad feeling about this

New Series in GIGA: Kiri no Miyako no K.K - Takamasa Moue (CP)

It's not a onesot, it's a series

Figures decided for Yuragi. Shueisha let slip on there about a Yuragi production committee too

[HIGAN0]

C-Station is doing Yuru Camp△ next season too, two shows in one season and for small studio is not good news....

[SharkBait]

Believe it, it will.

BLack Clover hasnt had a cover in awhile, so one of them will be it. RxL is on its last legs, I cant see it getting another cover.

Looks like my prediction came true

BLack Clover placement only makes sense as an incentive to get people to see the one shot.

[Heiji]

Goo to Goo oneshot will be by Tatsuya TANIMOTO.
He draw Heiwa Mashin.
