The ending seemed terribly planned out for an ending that was prepared for and planned out so long before.
Kubo seems so sick of his serialization. A line that can be interpreted multiple ways. Doesn't seem like the man had it well with his last stretch, at all.

After a time watching Soma I was thinking, I might not be an studious on the matter, but I have to say that despite setting their sorta iconic looks, I don´t have much positive to say on Shokugeki no Soma´s character designs. They look like if you take an avatar face and body, put a different hair, cloth, feature, etc, and you have your character done. Not even Rindou with her vampiric fangs(which some say is a cool character design) is that different from the other girls in the cast. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the artist of the manga was working on hentais, and character desings there have the same issues. What do you think?

isn't exactly a big revelation. It's a pretty common occurrence for characters in anime and manga to look similar, not just in Shokugeki

-Christmas its not public holliday on Japan.
-04/01 its a thursday. Normaly will be out 08/01 (monday) but its public holliday. So normaly should be out 06/01 (sathurday) but for unknow reason will be out 04/01 (thursday).
-16/01 its a tuesday. That don't know why its tuesday and not a monday (15/01). Perhaps a mistake from Shûeisha.

I was already sold on GH but we had to get off the island to get things in motion. Eir's personality reminds me a post-Alabasta Nami, where she still retains her character traits but loses the bitch/allgreedy-all-the-time mentality. First impressions are crucial, and I can say all the main characters and golems have been the best parts so far. Wonder if it's gonna be the duo for awhile or getting new members to join them next.

mc Kaoru not in the sport (the manga start with mc quitting the boxing club so he can help running his family grocery store)
his friend Yamato try to change his mind
mc is not interested
Yamato fights attract the attention of some douche
friend get beaten by the douche
mc return from retirement to avenge his friend
mc destroy the douche
the manga end with a fast forward to Yamato becoming a champion
during his victory interview he yells are watching? and challenge mc to a boxing match

Haha it's like Berserk all over again. If we had gotten these chapters with no hiatus i would totally be fine with it but in the next 2-3 chapters there better be something happening lol

The current arc is good; death to the haters. Togashi will give us Gon, Killua, and the Dark Continent when we're ready.

The idea is good, but the development is kinda boring. The flow sucks. Togashi is becoming too self-indulgent, needs a less cowardly editor.

I don't see a problem with him having freedom regarding to his manga and doing whatever he pleases, it's been a good idea so far, hasn't it resulted in one of the greatest battle shounen series out there? "Needs a less cowardly editor", literally what, lmao. I don't really have any problems with the flow or whatever, I also personally don't find anything boring about current HxH, just let Togashi be Togashi and do his thing.
