Yuno in his spirit mode looks very feminine, even more than his promo anime design. And is he wearing a purple lipstick?
it looks like a poster.BC's Lead CP:

It continues to follow and be a watered down PoT. That paneling is almost classic PoT but honestly, it's lacking in impact. The action is also hard to follow sometimes as again the line width is really small so everything just mixes without standing out. The amount of white space is also rather interesting. On Pg 14 of Stream's release, Dan's form is almost a copy of Ryoma's form. Do table tennis players actually make such wide swings? Watching the olympics, it seemed like it'd be short, compact swings with an occasional swift forehand.Man, Full Drive could have been something good or great even. I don't know if it's just me, but it's difficult to follow the flow of the game because it's hard to tell what's even going on in the panels. There's also that weird thing the mangaka likes to do where he layers the characters over panels and it ends up crowding the page.
This match hardly felt like the "fierce battle" that the end credits make it out to be. There's also the girl speaking like she's completely familiar with Dan and his play style after knowing him for only a day. So far the manga is pretty meh.![]()
Also, what the hell is this hand?

I was mostly referring to the art, it has some glimpses of something that could be nice, but not quite that good either. That's what I would've said after I only read chapter 1, but then I skimmed through the third chapter and the art is already falling apart quite literally, the pics EmDee posted above caught my attention because of their sloppiness. The characters didn't do much for me and neither did the story, maybe there really isn't much of a difference between this and all the other dead short lived sport stuff from recent times.I don't see the potential. What's the difference with this series and the last couple of sports manga that got canned for the same issues
Sounds like someone hasnt read Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle or Owari no Serafu, series with confirmed good writing. Lettuce not forget Stealth Symphony, where one of the gods of Japanese Literature even wrote for Jump and delivered one of the most memorable narratives in the magazine.Shounen Manga needs to be fun not logical I feel bad for people who actually thought manga aim at children and teenagers should have good writing, its stupid and unrealistic. but then the ego blinds its time to wake up from your delusions (Fun and Entertaining > Writing) if you want good writing read Japanese Novels or english novels or something else.
